Nah we won't be, because the stream is Thursday night at 7PM PDT, and even before that people will be able to play the demo at 5PM PDT so we SHOULD get footage from there. I would be actually shocked if Ivy, Zasalamel and Geralt + the two new stages aren't included in this version.
 
Yeah i figured that..character reveals are being kinda slow, but i would forgive tha lack of a new character, if they give the release date already lol
 
Don't get your expectations too high for lots of character reveals every month or anything, namco never confirmed monthly reveals, at least as far as I know.

I'll be happy just by seeing a new demo with Zasa, Ivy and the new stage in.

I think we miss a lot of the "charm" of the game learning about new things and characters in trailers and stuff instead of discovering everything in the actual game like we did back then when the internet wasn't so big (or even when there was no internet).

Think about it... By the day the game actually comes out we will know absolutly everything about it, the game modes it has, the characters that are in, the new designs, even some of the new moves have already been discovered and spoiled for everyone, there's a certain magic about loading the game in your console or PC and just discovering everything by yourself ... Don't you guys agree?

I completely agree with you that it's kinda sad when everything is spoiled and all.. if not for one big BUT.
And that "BUT" is that it's 2018 and every company tries its hardest to scam its consumers and it's better to spoil yourself some fun of discovery than dissapoint yourself with 60$ thrown into trash bin for an empty shell of a game. Second kind of dissapointment is much worse and this is why we need to know as much as possible about upcoming games.
Also there is a hype factor, we already know that this game "exists" and feeding our impatience with regular news makes waiting kinda more enjoyable.

They've never said monthly reveals, but with people complaining early on about the rate of reveals compared to the previous game, I started charting the past 2 games compared to this one. It's pretty consistent over 4,5, and 6 so far. Two things stand out.

1) When they're doing reveals, it's always monthly. There's one odd exception in SC4 where they didn't have anyone new for 4 months, but outside of that, the reveals up to that point were every month, and the reveals after that point were every month. The reveals in SC5 were every month except for a gap in December, cause there's always a gap in December with the press phoning in year end top 10 lists. SC6 so far is every month.

2) The guest reveal doesn't impact the base roster reveals. Ezio was announced the same month as 5 other characters (no way in hell I'd expect 5 characters ever announced for this game at a time). Yoda and Vader were revealed the same month as 3 other characters. Apprentice was on his own, but that's cause they literally had no one left to announce at that point other than the boss Algol and were seriously stretching out their information in the end.

So my expectations that there will most likely be a couple of characters this week are where they historically should be. And if there isn't anyone new, then that's cool with me too. I'm not in the rush other people are in. I've always enjoyed the discovery as well. Hell, I still don't have any of my characters announced yet and I'm just glad the game exists.

At this point i just can't wait to play the game myself, everything else is a Bonus. Of course i'm super excited to see what's coming next as character reveal and other contents reveal. Too excited to see what they did with the roster, i like what they have done with the already reveal characters, and also i like Groh, hope the other new comers will look great as well.

Okay I'll try to provide context to this.

Apparently Kayane went to namco office in SF yesterday where they let her play the old demo and record some gameplay.

This does not prove that the demo at the event will be the old one, but it makes it likely.

If someone knows something more please share.
 
I don't get it... Didn't they say it's gonna be the latest build? Aka newest build? ..
I seriously hope it is. I need some Ivy gameplay, Goddammit.

If it really isn't, then i hope we ATLEAST get a new character announcement tomorrow. Otherwise i'll be disapoointed.

New gameplay is always good, but damn, a two month old build with the same 6 characters when they have already announced 3 new ones? Come on..

70% complete my ass. lol
