nah, still too colorful and over the top
too much personality too. they should just be a simple drawlings of a guy in a gi doing kick, high level competition doesn't need flashy stuff, just blank stage with simple costumes and kick, only true competitive players can comprehend the mastery

I was honestly thinking of just basic bitch MUGEN with absolutely no changes but divekick is pretty apt lol

Also, Amy "fights" in one of the cutscenes. This further convinces me she's one of the DLC characters.

I don't think those are related in any sense. I'd love for both of them to have been in the series together in conjunction, what with the games' notoriety of having clones. I just happen to like Yun-seong a bit more.

For people who pre-ordered on Amazon, have your orders updated already? Mine hasn't billed yet and I hope I won't have to talk to an Amazon rep about it getting shipped on time despite me being on Prime.

The preview we saw of Tira's story seemingly murdering her foster parents seems pretty canon. Amy's story would likely just be like Talim's, preparatory for the things to come but nothing actually doing of any importance. Cassandra's would also pretty much be this, sooo... expecting a lot from DLC character stories doesn't seem wise, if they are who they appear to be hinted at possibly being.
 
Libra of Souls has already been promoted as the "secret history" for the game. It's clearly supposed to be there way of expanding the lore to a game that's otherwise just retreading established SCI events. On another note:

It's neat they're building on the "dark pretenses" of Raphael acquiring his own home while foreshadowing him eventually becoming Graf Dumas.

Admittedly the Talim and Amy fans here are pretty sane. But take that from someone who frequents Fire Emblem boards where even Ivy and Taki fans look tame.

That aside, the unselectable axes would be annoying. And I’m sure there will be a meltdown when it comes to both Cassie and Lizzy being the DLC.

Can’t wait for the CaS topics from those invested into their OCs either.

Yeah I feel you on that one. When the game got announced I thought for sure at least one of them would make it in the base game but here we are :'(
