well, I do record and review games, but it takes lots of time.
I think very important is "knowledge". You have to know what kind of moves are perfect to counter opponent strategy. And you also should try to be reasonable and stay within comfortable moveset - adding to much different options can make it too complicated to you and you'll end up struggling with your own offence. On the other hand - if you dont aspire for better stuff you cannot improve. I also try not to be predictable if I start to see a pattern forming (for ex after I block some certain move i do 2KB) I will try to change it before my opponent start ducking. I also like to do mathmatical calculations to see if my option select is (un)reasonable or my opponent just does(nt) guess too well.

Ah, I dont believe in talent. I do work a lot, but I see it as "quality" over "quantity", I dont train alot but I always look for effective approach etc. And of course most importantly I have few dedicated players, so even though community is very small (right now ~5 ppl) I was able to make it to the top of the world.

Well we can try, but I've never had a good 4 bar connection with someone on the west coast. Last night I played babalook and it was pretty bad. And I remember it wasn't that great when I played you long ago either.

Sure but not anytime soon. I've got a tournament coming up soon, so I want to avoid bad 4 bar connections. East to West coast connections are so bad that it will really mess up my game. Maybe after the tourney I'll play you for shits and giggles.
