Did he have a CAS? 'Cause he was probably offended that you didn't take the time to appreciate his beautiful originalcharacterdonotsteal. I've heard of people doing that before. Those three seconds of generic dialogue and recycled animations are an important part of their artistic vision after...
Even though I can't play this game (no PS3) the fact that she'll supposedly throw fireballs like a 2d fighter character makes her seem worth keeping an eye on. Could end up being a preview of what we can expect from TxSF. Would have loved to see the giant mantis though.
Oh okay. Sounds pretty hilarious, only problem being that it seems like a 99% chance that it'd end in an RQ. But I guess that's how most Damp games end anyway haha.
Really? Guess I missed it. Just to be sure, this only happens when you CE Algol's bubbles, right? Is it guaranteed, or does it only happen occasionally?
So I've got a bit of a problem. This game didn't really interest me at first, but after hearing all the praise I got a bit curious. I decided to watch a walkthrough, just to get a good idea of it. I only intended to watch the first few parts, but something about the story and the whole game...
Holy hell. I actually didn't know that, then I tried it online and am now absolutely giddy with happiness for some reason. I'm going to try to bait Algols into bubble-blowing from now on just so I can practice it more.
This is a great thread, lots to learn!
I've messed around with his JF in training. It's definitely awesome, but I'm terrible with pulling off JFs consistantly. Out of curiosity, how does Lee's version (Acid Storm) compare? Is it practical?
Let me start by saying that I barely understand the fundamentals myself.
Going by what other people say though, the Laws, Paul, Bob and Miguel are some good places to start. They say Lili and Asuka aren't to difficult to grasp either, so maybe you should just stick with 'em. I'm not sure if they...
Some people try to use the lay down and do nothing thing as a strategy. They lie there, wait until you get close or kick 'em near a ledge, then spring back to life and try to use a throw/ CE. Never works though.
Of course, maybe it only happens to me since I just teabag 'em until they get back...
Raked Battle... Rule Breaker... Rash Blisters... Red Baron... Running Back?
Damn, shouldn't have read this before going to bed. Now this mystery'll keep me up all night.
Returned to the game earlier this week after a month long break. Got two funny massages (IMO) within the first couple of days:
1) I beat this guys and he sends me a massage saying that I'm "afraid of losing." I asked him to clarify since it got me genuinely curious. My w/l hovers around 40%...
Mine couldn't do it, at least not until he's done ringing the bells at Notre Dame... uh I mean done helping Schwarzwind... oops, I mean climbs his corpse out of a bottomless pit.
