Thanks for the update Manta, I am pretty excited to hear this stuff. So with Tira there was no auto-transition moves found, and by chance...did you notice if Jolly 66B hit grounded? :)

That's an odd way of not getting CF'd, jump directly into the path of the weapon that would be killing you.

I call dibs on the new Auto-CF/JI aerial juggle mixup.

With the active purge, do you have to have all 3 levels of your armor intact when you use it?

And the 236A Cass JF is probably like her 236B JF and fiddles with the recovery period/blockstun recovery timing.

There are two reasons I'm thinking it's a safe bet that we'll see it on PS3. First of all that's what happened with tekken. Second of all God of War 3 is supposedly coming out in march so it's a perfect marketing ploy.(The same way the apprentice in SCIV kind of helped promote The Force Unleashed)

But thanks for the updates. Any changes to Kilik? Did they change Asura in anyway?

I don't think you can go soley on the "Tekken did it" reasoning, butj it would be nice. As for it being used as a marketing ploy.... I believe that God of War 3 really isn't going to need any gimmicky marketing because people are already HYPE.

Also, the apprentice didn't make me want to go play The Force Unleashed because he didn't care about my situation.

But very good question KDZ... I think that needs to be asked badly.

Shit, I'm on the lookout for Valkyrie no Densetsu because it was Cassandra's SC2 3P costume, and that's an arcade game. (An awesome arcade game that I've had the chance to play on an emulator, but I'd never have been interested in it if not for Soul Calibur.)

That's ridiculous... if you would have played the demo, you could have saved 60 bucks. But, did you do it more from a collector standpoint, because he's a guest character and you have like.... everything SC?

I think buying a game because they are a guest character in a completely different genre is just asking for trouble, but to each his own.

But that's way off topic... Um, yeah... ask if its coming to PS3.

...and how this would play out with XBox game owners if it DID come to PS3. Aren't there copyright probs with God of War, meaning it's a no no for Microsoft to use him? I'm just trying to remember something I read somewhere so don't hold me to it. ...just asking.

Because of Soul Calibur, I played the demo, and because I liked the demo, I bought the game, I just haven't gotten around to opening it yet. My point being: no matter how stupid the tie-in, Soul Calibur tie-ins work.

Can be elaborate the nerf on Amy's RO? Alex plays Amy right? I don't remember Amy having any good RO option besides 236 K:A, but that was the whole point of the just frame...

Did you guys tried out JFs in general? Are they easier? What was the "more friendly to new players" about?
 
My theory is they chop BD up into ala carte DLC for SCIV, and they just leave Kratos out on the Xbox version (or they leave him out completely). Balance patch will be mandatory. Expansions to the armor/soul gauge/CF system might not make the cut. That's not as likely to warrant a price tag as new stages, armor, weapons, music and Dampierre.

Not sure about needing all 3 pieces of armor to activate AP ~ I don't think they're all required...

Everything else I can really think of is in the list I wrote, we'll have to wait and see everything else that's new on release day.
