Just watched it but NM's damage has gone up significantly it seems. It was already pretty high before but (i measured this on my monitor lol) 33B~GS B seems to do about 75-80 damage now from 60+ damage. FC 3B looks like its doing 50+ damage or something and WR B ~ NSS aB seems to be doing alot more as well. His step also seems to have been improved, but i think thats because everyone's step has been buffed. Wow hopefully this comes to a PS3 near me soon lol.
 
everyone's "staple" launchers got buffed.. but what about basics like BB, 2A and that stuff.. if it's all damage is buffed in general then it's effectively giving all characters less hp.

The thing about a general HP buff is that it's indirectly nerfing the power of ringouts and critical finish

Ok... general HP buff would mean more HP. Therefore, more direct damage needs to be done in order to KO your opponent.

Wouldn't that also "Buff" the RO's and CF's... because you are winning the match with 1 move or situation even though the opponent has more HP?

Amy didnt seem like she got a damage increase and some of my mates who have played the demo haven't been raving about damage increases for their characters.

It would massively buff RO's and CF's, it would effectively increase the damage of them, give you more time/opportunities to ring out your opponent, and you both would be blocking more hits overall making a CF virtually guaranteed to happen at some point. Try playing with 200% life and see what happens.
 
well hmm i meant a nerf instead of a buff (as evident in the earlier part of my post)


But hey alternate win conditions are something to take into consideration... in exactly how much they should impact the overall game.


Death by KO : 75%
Death by RO : 20%
Death by CF : 4%
Death by timer : 1%

Thats about how the game seemed weighed to me overall with an equal showing from all members of the cast.
 
Guys, from what you have played, do you feel the RO slippery moments overall has been toned down? Also, does Mitsurugi feel like his old safe in the wakeup?
 
That Brian guy in the middle blinks ridiculously fast and he scares me.

Also, Dampy Air moonwalking = instant fail in my eyes...
