You're right, it does have the potential to be a great game.

I think the Pats may have a hard time in the dome tonight though... luckily, I'm watching the game with my best friend who happens to be a HUGE Pats fan.

I'm not going to start talking crap yet, anything could happen.

But, I will add this... Geaux Saints!
 
Gonna try to watch at least the first half tonight at work, Brees too ballin. If you guys hold Maroney to a crappy game, I might actually win this week in fantasy football, so go defense!

Yeah, this shows you how much the Saints have changed this season.

Last season (and every one before that ><) there was no way we could even hope to cheer on our defense. We have really stepped it up on that side of the ball and our offense is, well... you know.
 
Well they're not gonna be able to take as many risks as they've been taking in the secondary against Brady, but yeah Saints defense is a huge reason they're where they are right now. Fun team to watch, and since they're playing the Bellicheats I have a reason to root for someone this week other than the fake ass trash Giants. X_X

Holy shit did the Saints make that look easy. Drew Brees is playing some S-rank football this year.

I gotta say, between the Raiders losing (again), the Niners winning, and the Patriots getting trashed, I had a nice week watching football this week. Should happen more often.
 
Drew Brees S-Rank passing cannot be stopped, Pierre Thomas doing "Madden" moves into the end zone and...

WHO DAT?!?! Mike mothafuckin McKenzie putting some fear in the hearts of the Pats and many teams to come. He is going to flourish in Gregg Williams' defense, and I'm so stoked that he showed up to play.

The pieces are falling into place...11-0, Geaux Saints!

The Patriots get stomped by the best team in football on Monday night and now I get to be reminded of that Super Bowl loss ... it is not a good time to be a Pats fan. Brady needs to get his head out of his ass and Belichick needs his edge back!

It stopped being a good time to be a Pats fan the day they got caught fucking cheating, bottom line. I actually didn't mind the Pats at all till that, thought they were a good team and Brady was a standup guy. So much for that.
 
It actually wasn't a bad thing they got caught cheating. If anything, it was probable a good thing. The bad thing was when Tom Brady didn't heal up and practice for the Superbowl. It felt like half the team underestimated the Giants didn't give them a chance. But of course, dismissive haters are always going to look for the cheap shot to try to bring down the Patriot's greatness of this decade.

I think if the Niners can continue to run that spread early and have success, they could make a good run for it in the NFC West. But can they win the division?

Niners play @Seattle; Arizona: @Philadelphia; Detroit (yay!) and @St. Louis.
Cards play Minnesota; @SF; @Detroit; St. Louis and Green Bay.

I can see the Niners going 4-1 down that stretch to finish 9-7. Philadelphia always plays us hard and I am hoping that the Niners can beat the Cards. The Cards can probably go 4-1 -- Minnesota is scary good -- as well to finish 11-5 and win the West. So if SF is going to have any chance atsuccess, its going to have to run the table (including beating Arizona) and hope Arizona loses at least two games the next few weeks.

Well, crazier shit has happened this season.

That's an interesting race, they both get free wins with Detroit and St Louis, both have a really tough matchup against Minnesota or Philly, and they play each other once more still. Cards have to end with the tougher game, but I think they have a lead still heading into all this, yeah? I'll take Arizona so long as they don't have to go long term with Leinart.
 
vikings should win no prob over the cards with warner being banged up
packers i think will be a close game against them though
9ers schedule only game thats scary atm is the philly game
