Holy Jenovah, that djinn is astounding! His entire body seems engulfed in flames. He looks like he came straight out of a Prince of Persia game. It's unfortunate that nobody really visits the CaS forums anymore no matter how good your work is, but I'd say it's better to have a few genuinely appreciative fans than a thousand "likes."

I don't quite understand your direction with the Atlantic warrior, particularly those rabbit ears, but it is a promising idea nevertheless.
 
rabbits ears supposed to some kind of dolphin finns (to help the atlante warrior swim in underwater cities, hence the colors ;o) i certainly appreciate your criticism, i find it intriguing to see the forum flooded with bland CAS of very pedant creators (meaning : self-satisfied and bragging) and i really refrained myself not to be too harsh (i start a post then usually delete it)...
those bright colors and non descript CAS, really ! ;o(

...and i very much appreciate counting you as a fan for sure, little red riding hood (cute avatar), the genuine fans count, i have murasame, chobek, pocky, lorddraco, gabe...all talented creators who spend just as much time on it as i do !

i see so many people posting CAS here i can easily understand why you can go unnoticed for a while, no sweat, but it is nice to see you like my Djinn, i put a lot of effort into it, and used more or less all the techniques i have perfected (and used Murasame bump map technique for some parts, credits !!!) We are all attention whores (attention to detail i mean), so we need a little incentive to improve and carry on ;o)

I can't resist quizzes. The mouth was something that stood out for me, as well.

Like KiraxSummers said it's the Pure Ring with Feathers of Strength on a Butterfly Salet but that mouth...I'm gonna say Sticker Motif 97 (one of the dragon ones). It's nice and scaley. Quite a nice trick if you're making a reptilian kind of character as long as it's used sparingly.

I quite like this overall design. It's got a sort of gloss or shine to it which makes it look other worldly without being overly cartoony. Also you've got the collector's edition armour. This makes me jealous.

I like your Neytiri, too. I'm also quite fond of Djinn. Poor guy must have a hell of an optometrist's bill...or one hell of an optometrist...or an optometrist from hell...get the man some eye drops for crying out loud it's no wonder he's so grumpy!

...Fliptop, i laughed a lot a your last two lines (the ophtamologist lok)...
creating Djinn and Alien Space Marine was fun, and i tried to go for exactly with what you mentioned with the latter :
alien (or other worldly - nice word ;o) design without being too heavy on bright colors...

I used a lot of different pattern and sticker techniques on both, but for alien space marine, you guessed right :
this is a dragon sticker (the big blue chinese looking one), rotated and shrunk to give this special look...i am also happy to find a decent use for this butterfly salet, coupled with the pure ring (with orange color to give it its bicolor look, a neat little trick you probably know of)...

if you like quizzes, i'll give you some harder ones (maybe) ;o)

i will edit my space marine later on, i did not notice there where leather stips on the inside of the lusca gauntlets, and a space marine has not leather strips ;o) too bad because they look very robotic in shape as i wanted them to be...

...and i'll post a full size pic as well, which i forgot...
 
your "space marine sigfried" is awesome, I suggest to rotate vertically the halo a little bi,t to match more the v shape of the helm
 
thanks, happy my first sci-fi themed CAS is a winner...
considering the production on this forum, an automated slideshow is more comfortable because you don't have to browse through 10 pages of post, right ? maybe some others will follow ;o)
