Any Musicians on here ?

Isn't Baritone awesome Heaton? I love my Danelectro

Ah, I had a feeling this misconception would come up. When I say I'm a dramatic baritone, I mean my I sing in the dramatic baritone register, which an absolute joy to sing (look up Thomas Hampson's "Boatman's Dance"). I've never played or owned a baritone guitar, though I am interested in trying one.

Ah, forgive the confusion.

I can't sing for crap, or even play and talk at the same time.

Probably one of the greatest guitarists I've ever met.

Okay, back on topic. Lol

Danelectro's sound absolutely fantastic, though the build quality leaves much to be desired. I'm thinking about picking up the baritone that Paul Reed Smith makes. I love the guitars, they sound so mellow.

Ive always wanted to learn the saxophone, but I never had the chance. Im also one of those people who owns a really nice guitar and doesnt know how to play it. At this point it is just there for people who want to jam out with me while I play drums, but I am a little disappointed in myself for not learning it yet.

Drums - 3 years

And a bunch of instruments I used to play but not anymore:

Violin - 2 years
Bass - 4 years
Guitar - 2 years
Trombone - 4 years
Saxophone - 1 year

It does seem like musicians are attracted to fighting games..the attention to detail, the systematic daily approach of practicing the game (instrument), fine tuning one or two main characters (once again like instruments), and if play on an arcade stick, it's even more reminiscent of that hands on feel of practicing a trumpet or piano, etc. That's what I believe anyways as a semi-pro musician.

I play guitar well enough, rhythm or melody. A little keyboard and trumpet.

I am, my instrument being FL Studio. You can check some of my work in my sig...PLUGGED.

Have you tried LMMS (Linux Multi Media Studio)? It's free and available for Windows, Mac or Linux. I use it on my Ubuntu system. I've only used LMMS since it's free but it promotes itself as being just as comprehensive as FL studio. If you feel like trying LMMS I'd be curious to see how it compares to FL. So is LMMS a full DAW? Is this program anything like GarageBand and it's capabilities? I've been really into composing some electronic music with live acoustic instrument lately.

Yes, It's a full DAW. You can check out the documentation in the link to the home page. It's free so trying it out wouldn't hurt. It has midi-support. I plugged my digitech peddle into the laptop via USB and LMMS recognized it correctly as the RP-255 and assigned it a channel. The work-flow is best if you have at least dual-monitors. Ubuntu has multiple desktops so it's prolly the only OS that has good work-flow on one monitor.

flute - 8 years
piano- 12 years
double bass- 5 years
bari sax - 1 year
oh and i was a fuckin badass at the recorder back in grade school

I play Viola!

But that's enough about my favourite SCV characters...
I've been playing the guitar for 7ish years, and I'm now trying teach myself piano.

I'm a classically trained trumpet player, I'm about to graduate with my masters. I also play any other style that pays. More work please.

Big respect man, as a trumpet player myself I know how much work and practice goes into being a classically trained trumpet player.
