Godspeed, good sir, and bring us good tidings of the game we all desire.
Still not too thrilled with the naval battles, but the free-running's gonna be ultra-awesome.

Got the game! Very disappointed with the packaging. I can see my brutish boyfriend breaking this ish.

Eagle Vision confirmed to have been replaced by Eagle Mode. Tap X to fly.

Great because even though its hilarious, I would hope things that outrageous get ironed out before release.

Well debug modes are usually available in earlier builds in order to test things. In this case, that gif is from an E3 or Gamescom build where the player ended up clicking the analog stick buttons on the PS3 to switch on debug mode and then selected a pigeon/bird animation and that's basically what happened here.

And from my understanding... AC3 is pretty buggy right even after launch.

Anyone understand how the homestead upgrade system works? I can't even tell if this thing is supposed to be making me money or not.

Loving it. I still haven't figured out how to maintain my homestead properly, it is WAY more complicated then taking care of the villa in ACII. I just started getting into hunting and it is a blast! Also am finally getting a decent income thanks to that.

Oh and I love the naval battles, I understand that not everyone is gonna like em but I love it!

Are those difficult because I heard that the positioning is really important?
Its kinda hard but not too hard. The smaller swivel guns can shoot in any direction and require you to aim them but they are only good for smaller targets like gunboats since they barely do anything to larger ships. The main cannons only fire straight to either side so you gotta have the enemy to the side of the ship for them to hit, but it launches a huge barrage all at once and it is sick as hell watching a ship get torn up by them. Also you gotta be driving and not hitting any rocks while doing all this. The wind can change direction and you can't steer into the wind if you want full speed. You can switch between full sail, half sail, and full stop to go different speeds. Naturally half sail gives you better maneuverability than full sail does.

Anyone know how to get that Peg Leg trinket in the northeast of the homestead? Its up on a cliff and I cant find any holds to climb up or paths to it.
