yeah SCH K beats it for sure. Probably not a bad option, but you can't use the word "punish" he might be able to 2_8B+K around it too, I'm not sure how long it takes him to do that (I know 14 frames after 3 it isn't out of the way yet)
 
sweet, cause i get knee happy when i think there is no chance of me getting punished for it i go for it. i think ill stick to that being my punishment tool, if he starts 2_8B+K, then ill start command throwing.

Also on the subject of Seig's 3, I'm not 100% on this, but 4B beats SCH A+B and SCH B, loses to SCH K/SCH kB and ties with SCH A. That right? or does 4B duck SCH A first hit?

However
SCH K trades with 4B and SCH A beats 4B completely
SCH 82B+K can also spinout of Astas 4B if you're not perfectly fast with 4B.

Again I cannot stress this enough...6A...use it.

BTW
B+K on hit into Throw will reach Sieg...Know this.
 
SCH A is slower than SCH K, is it a hitbox thing?

4B...his head pokes up before it goes down....pretty much a hitbox thingy.

And too late. Unless you want to post that there as a character match-up analysis...Frame data can be deceptive that's why I almost never look at it.

KingAce: Sieg players have to hit/CH confirm 3 so a quick 4B will often work.

CaliJared: I think both you and Izluden can improve your anti-character strategies. One thing I'll say is be careful with the 44As, and by that I mean, know its range and don't whiff it =)

Oh and tell Izluden that IIRC, JF A:6 is also faster than A6.
 
Yeah I've been working on always having 44A make contact and to not wiff it. That was also like the 3rd time I've ever fought Taki before so I don't really know much about her or what she can do.
 
Of all those Astas there I think I liked Clint's the most. He does a lot of the same stuff I do so I guess that's why haha. I didn't really get to see JasonL's or the Clint vs ando1184 match because of the speed up/slow down issues. Hopefully there will be more JasonL matches.
 
This is me vs Ookami, the best Ivy player in China ( though SC communities in China are pathetically small and scattered haha, he's more like the better of the two Ivy players in China ... ) Ookami from Shenzhen and LAU from Hong Kong are the two players that give me the most troubles. Any constructive advice/comment regarding my Asta or anti-Ivy is appreciated.

In general:
1) I need to learn to block 22K =(
2) I need to learn how to approach Ivy better
3) Be more conservative at the beginning of the match

We finally got our lazy selves to record our casual matches and in good quality too!
