Nightmare's punisher moves are VERY effective, even if you read them many of them are nearly impossible to avoid.

If you're getting hit with a punisher, you CANNOT avoid it, period. That's how it goes for all punishers. They're there to punish you for making a mistake. In Nightmare's case, he generally has shitty block punishment but extremely good whiff punishment, and whiff punishment is ALWAYS extremely costly. If you keep getting hit with high damage whiff punishers, then the problem is you, not Nightmare.

what i tried to say is that he easily punish you, even if he's a very unsafe character.
 
Nightmares block punish game is ass. If he had just a decent block punish game I feel like he would be broken and I rarely throw that word out.
 
Here is something that would be broken, Algol having NM/Patroklos Meter-Gain, while remaining intact (for the most part) would be BROKEN.

yes i agree with you here nightmare can force you to whiff better than any other character.
so whiffing vs nightmare is actually quite easy to do why do you think he wins every major.
low kick in to his ridiculous back dash will force you to whiff if you retaliate too fast besides his guard burst game is the best in the game.
to make up for his poor block punish and mix ups.
people need to stop looking at frames and take into account how this plan out in a real fight.
they fail to take push back and spacing into account.
 
If Nightmare was really broken I think he would have better than 40 and 45 damage grabs mate. Worst overall damage grabs in the game to the best of my knowledge.

Nightmare is REALLY broken, not as Mitsurugi but he is, then no other character is broken in the game, though some call algol broken he is not, his bubbles are tamed now and he's not even top tier. I really don't know why people try to proove that nightmare is a fair character, seriously? why ALMOST every A1 rank user uses nightmare or mitsurugi? Natsu is top tier, just like Viola, Mitsurugi and Nightmare are broken tiers, learn the difference.
 
Tracks to both sides, works wonders if you're playing that oki game and using tech traps. They get up expecting something else, they're eating it to the face. They stay down and you can do JS 66B/GS 66B/GS 22*88B and the like. Yay.

Im convinced you know nothing about this game
