Question- why do AH fans find the game better then Arc fighters? Any particular reason in general.

They have to answer like that. It's a requirement of their secret society.

But seriously I've never played it but it looks fun, people zipping back and forth across the screen in combos and such. I just can't get over the strong, strong loli factor.

I personally think that ArcSys fighters are alright. I know people that worship the ground BlazBlue uhhh plays on I guess. I know just as many that are fans of Guilty Gear that despises BlazBlue. I was never able to get into the games super heavy (AH for that matter), I guess it really falls down to personal preference (what doesn't?), I always looked at those fighters more as "niche" fighters than say "casual" or broad fighters. Just my opinion.

U guys are all wrong.
Puzzle Fighter is the best that ever was, the best that ever is, and the best that ever WILL BE.

Who voted for Tekken 6, Virtual fighter, and MvC3?

Tekken is a button mashers delight that took place on a planet that was confused as to what exactly gravity was and got confused with it was up or down.
Virtual fighter is a complex good fighting game but it was too complex. It would easily get boring especially if you face someone good. It would just be poking each other and blocking back and forth.
MvC3 people who voted for that game need to take some time and rethink. Sure its fun but it's the newist most broken game out. Pick phoenix and you potentially have 4 characters in you roster.

Anyways, yeah there are some things wrong with every fighting game but some stand out much more than others. I like DOA for it plays like SC in some ways. There are juggle potentials but a person only has that chance when the person is in the air. In tekken if you miss the air hit, well darnit!, hit him low and lift back up to try again. Yes, people say that DOA is mashing the counter buttons. That's like picking Kilik and mashing forward A+B. There are easy ways around it. DOA is the most balanced as well as fun game, in my opinion. no different health ranges for different characters either like in SF4. I hated picking Ibuki and beating the crap out of them and they do about 7 moves and I was dead. WTF?

P.S. no I'm not an angry person. I'm not mad now. just expressin' my 'pinion.

As a matter of fact, that's the exact opposite of the truth. The better you get, and the better players you go against the more fun the game becomes.

VF is probably the game with the least amount of blocking , as evading/throwing are VERY important.

Of course, knowing when to block is very important still. You can't win by not blocking.

I fully agree but that's true about any fighting game. Don't get me wrong I love playing as Pai chan, Sarah, and Aoi. but I played against a similar player to me online and were using the same character. that was the longest match I ever had.

I'm" not going to lie, watching two experts fight each other is either 100% hit or 100% miss. There are times when I watch two experts fight and the match is kickasstastic. However other times the match will absolutely bore me to tears because the match will have virtually no momentum shifts and the players fail to engage the audience in their actions (I know that doesn't make sense but that was the best way I could state it.)

People who voted for MvC3 are just clinging to the hype. The game is fun, but competitively... it's garbage.

Vincent, I don't believe you understand the game logic. Ibuki is a fast rush down character with alot of options. Character like Barlog & Honda slow moving turtle characters with few options. less options, more damage output.
Since soul Calibur isn't on the list, Street fighter takes the poll pretty easy...

Well somebody got juggled to death and rage quit.

Nope! I don't even bother playing the game online because I've seen what people do. (The good players anyway). I only got to know 2 characters that interested me most and the rest I don't bother with too much. Personally, I think the game is really fun if your playing with 4 or more people in the room (actually sitting around you, not online). But theres not a lot of options when it comes to deciding how to handle your opponent. If you fight someone who can block well and get out of grabs then what can you do? Unblockables are kind of out of the question for defensive players that watch you every move.
All in all. I don't hate Tekken. I just don't like the gravity and detailed combat scheme. Looks nice though.
P.S. I NEVER rage quit!

Well, crap, I couldn't offer my two cents.

...

Street Fighter Alpha 3 is the best fighting game of all time. Soul Calibur 1 is the best 3D fighting game.
