If you go to college how much is your shit?
Ever been to a fancy restaurant? How much was your dish?
How fast can your car go? You know you can only go up to 50miles /hour right?
Ever been to an expensive hotel?
What's the average of how much money you spend?

Would you buy this bottle of wine? It's only $10,000.00

Expensive as shit restaurants do have cases where the food is nothing short of amazing, it just comes down to whether you want to spend 100 dollars for a steak in Vegas.

#1 COLLEGE.

Close #2, Medical bills!

My father manages claims at an insurance company, primarily for Medical insurance claims. He calls a lot of the billing "Blue Sky Billing" because if they do a procedure that costs $13,000 roughly with equipment and a qualified medical staff, they'll charge $55,000 to the insurance company.

My father managed a claim once for a young boy who had 2 brain surgery operations, and spent 6 weeks in the hospital. Guess how much they charged the insurance company for it? >:P

$100,000? No.

$500,000? No.

$900,000? No.

$1,400,000??!! Yes that's right!!

The hospital wanted 1.4 million dollars for two brain surgeries and a six week stay in intensive care. You go do the math... Sad thing is, you're getting charged more at a night in a hospital TRIPLE what you'd pay for a luxury hotel in downtown Las Vegas... Think about that!!! xD

That said, our healthcare system is fucked beyond belief and there are too many billionaires in our country.

USA healthcare system is just an example of what happens when you don't have a "free market", it's roughly the same crap you see in other countries too... >:P

In Sweden, health care is FREE! But, you pay super high taxes, and to get procedures it often takes a really really long time.. Sort of like the government took over the medical department..

Medical costs for sure. USA needs to grow out of its stubbornness and follow Canada's amazing health care already. Also, cop tickets are expensive because people are idiots and can't follow basic directions unless their money is at risk.

What's the purpose of this thread, anyway?

Did you really need to all caps the title for this?
DEX kinda exaggerated when making the thread.

However, a lot of people chose colleges. My favorite part about that is listening to how people fuck up in college while paying cases of money. I've also heard a lot about college grading/credit system being bullshit. Anyone ever had a problem where you got the grades, but not the credits? How does that work? XD

DEX was gettin bored so he decided to make the first move to dick around. I'm not sure if it's just me or the population of this site is getting smaller. Either way, things aren't getting any interesting, not as it was back in the day. Probably because I was an asshole.
Anyways, it's lovely how the whole car thing works.

I think the real question is, how fast are you allowed to go? lol The highest speed limit I know of is 50 tops. So why buy an expensive fast ass car, when you can't even use it's speed? The obvious answer is so your ass can get ticketed.

More money n.n

Depends on where you live. I know here in Florida we have some stupid-ass speed limits, but there's certain interstate highways that allow up to ±100 mph. I think the highest you can go on a state road is 85 mph in Texas, or maybe Arizona's Rt. 79 (90mph).

However, there's places in Europe where you actually cannot go below a certain speed (German Autobahn, Polish Autostradas, etc) where you can actually get a ticket for going too slow.

Why do you talk in third person?

Can't say much about the States but where I live, the biggest money scam is food. Nope, not 5 star restaurants but day to day grocery shopping. Feeding yourself like a regular person is frackin expensive and it's depressing.

I'm starting a Work Force Solutions course at my local community college at the end of the month. It lasts two months and is twice a week. When I took regular college courses there it cost about $300 for one course for the semester, but this two month course cost $1,200 up front. Don't ask me why.

Colleges, IMO..
Being in college (granted it's just community college for now) and having to shell out tons of money for books that are definitely overpriced (500 dollars for 4 books??) because the companies want to turn a huge profit, and they know people will need them.
"You go to school until you're 18 so you can go to college. Then, you get a loan and go to college, and get a good education so you can spend the rest of your life paying off your college loan."

Well, if you really need the money there's grants and scholarships. Grants are given based on need, while scholarships are based on merit.

Loans are shit though.

Why do you talk in third person?

Pocky Yoshi used to talk in third person and people didn't mind it as much. He was kind of liked for it.

a 100.. WTF?!? You bullshitting?
Idk, that's just me. People tell me to stop doin that shit, but also tell me to be myself. I'm like "that makes sense..." lol. I know how you feel Kira. DEX will eventually stop.

And then this berserker wannabe guy talks in third person and he isn't as classy as Pocky Yoshi.....

Pocky Yoshi is done being a narcissistic snob. >3

Maybe because people love Pocky Yoshi, that's why they don't mind the Pocky. That zerker is just some lost asshole we all know. Ever seen a picture of a retarded bird with subs in the middle of it "Retards; we all know one." Which I'm pretty sure how I'm thought of. The least I can say for myself is that I am civil by giving my small love to any that may be their birthday or a holiday or even death (WingZero) when they least expect it.... & that I don't fuck with people homosexually, or get in peoples faces about their private life.

Most overpriced crap you can buy is when I was at the mall with friends this weekend and it's $60 per shirt at the mall... xD $150 for sunglasses... WHOA!!

It gets me upset all the lame crap is moderately affordable.. I went to a Skate shop to buy a long board, and the board cost about as much as a shirt! That's a good deal... ^_^

I go to the next store, it's a high-end business clothing store, and a leather coat there looks cool, the price is $920..... O_o.... WHAAAAT?! Almost a grand for a coat?! Leather boots are $350 a pop!

A lot of stuff is overpriced like that.. Especially depending on where you live. When I went to NYC, stuff was a lot more expensive than where I live.

Lol yea I see that prices are more expensive for the area in which people live. So for instance, if you go to a more wealthy part of the USA like Denver Colorado, milk and groceries will cost a lot more than if you lived in a lower income area. They figure the richer the neighborhood, the more expensive they price products..

That's why I guess small apartments in California LA cost like $1,200 per month sometime, the nicer ones even more... xD

$1,200 is pretty cheap for the LA/NYC area lol. Try $2,400 for a studio and start at $3,500 for something larger than a closet.

More like $1,200 per month... Per person. Rooommates!
