im uber stoked that maxi finally wins a tourney. hopefully a little more respect will come to us "button mashers"

Maxi didn't win the tourney, KDZ did.

Not to mention the fact that no one around here plays Maxi, and didn't know how to exploit certain weaknesses.

it still gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside. i does appear that the knowledge of the other character help more than the offense. But dont ruin my moment. jsut let me have it for right now!!

I did? Sorry? I honestly have no problems with MA crew, you guys are ok by me.

I'm curious why certain people felt it neccesary to point out that they think KDZ couldn't do this at a different event or area, though. I wonder if they'll get the same kind of attention that I got? But whatever, I'm cool with everyone, no beef.

no prob. i too would prob forgot what posted if i had 1100+ posts lol.

i guess thats my point Kowtow, KDZ could move to most other areas in the US and make them look bad too. having a really good player live somewhat close to you is a double edged sword. playing against better comp makes you a better player, but at the same time that better player makes people around him look like scrubs more or less unless they start beating said better players. personally i love my monthly lessons in humility, cuz i love the challenge.

I very much regret not making this, I used to use Maxi too in SC3 and SC2...

KDZ is a beast, i love going out every event and watching this dude flow.....it just makes us all here in the area work that much harder to over come. His winning it with Maxi proves the point of any character can beat anyother....hats off bro

Ah come on man, certain people?? Just go ahead and say "I wonder why KrayzieCD felt it necessary to point out....." cuz I was the only one that said something like that. Anyway I said that cuz I believe it to be true....seeing the first batch of vids only proves it. The Ivy player was falling for basic Maxi strings that have been in the game since SC1....i've gotta wait to watch the rest of the vids but so far from what i've seen it's just inexperience against Maxi. The TC made the title 'Maxi finally wins'....the only time that would be such a big deal IMO would be if the Maxi won going up against people who know how to fight him.

Never liked that argument, "Only good against people who don't know how to fight against him".
That works for pretty much every character under tier S.

Cervy could also fall under that category.
"You should see all his lows and punish everything he does!"
