Can someone here read info on game disks?

The jingle sound is interesting because I remember the first footage of SCIV had that.

Are all those old movesets still on the disk, or did you have to import them from another game?
 
why are amy, zas and yoda's movesets still in ?

I didnt see yunseong and mina's but i'd imagine if the SW movesets were in it shouldn't be a stretch.

Raphael range with amy's moveset ? Wow i'd probably hate myself.

Hey, great work on that video...can you confirm SCIV styles are present on SCV disc or you have somehow imported them (more probably)? I'm a bit skeptical that ALL styles are still present while 3D models aren't.

I dont recognise the style that Inferno Cervy was using though.

The movesets were copied over from SC4. There are no unused movesets on the SC5 disc.

VERY buggy. Launchers don't work properly, some moves deal the wrong amount of damage, some moves are impossible to trigger, all moves trigger the wrong sounds, and some moves will crash the game.

A shame. I assume there's nothing that can be done to fix that?
 
It warms my heart to know that attempting to play Amy actually breaks the game.

That said, is anyone with coding knowledge surprised here? The code has been recycled since SC1- its not modular, you can't just take shit out without a ton of work. You can disable it by gutting/isolating it though.

Not without extensive knowledge about the moveset format.

There's probably additional variables about each move and that's what is messing things up. If one were to map out the entire format, I imagine it's possible to fix. But that is a LOT of work. Considering the mod community for SC is close to non existant, I don't think that'll ever happen.

They are not on the disc. I copied them from SC4.
 
Agreed, although I don't think it's ambiguous. It's blatantly using digital content you don't have the rights for which is piracy. :\

Sectus, do you happen to have offsets in the SCV files for the character models and equipment colors? I was going to try to dig them out earlier, but I ran out of time and thought I might be able to ask you....

Basically, I was looking for the flags for the base models (no-lines vs paint-on-wear) that change between pieces of equipment like Tiger Lily and basic clothes. I also want to try to set an item to the game's alpha value to try removing sleeves and such. If you know anything, could you give me a tip? :)
 
hey sectus ... may be a lot of work, but is there some sort of tutorial or faq you can make to do all this stuff? ...
