[Chicago, IL] anyone out here play?

Oh, and as a side note as I saw housing was asked about for you Chi-town boys. I offered it to the Canadiens and I will extend the same offer to you all. As I work for the Sheraton I can get some rooms at the Sheraton Phoenix for about $49/night. Now it's not directly across the street from the venue like the Hyatt is but it's at most 3 blocks away. So if this might help and y'all might be interested just let me know. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than the $109-$139/night I'm pretty sure they'll charge at the Hyatt. Just wanted to throw that out there.
 
Hey guys back home, if the gathering is at a different place I'd like to know. I'd have to use someone else's controller though, my only good one broke T_T.
 
Nah, it's at the same place tomorrow. Not sure how long you can stay but HumanTyphoon will be by this time, by midnight.
 
Hrms...will also try to buy a camera tomorrow if we leave out earlier than usual.
 
Sorry I couldn't make last weekend's gathering, my family has been having some problems. But as a reasult I might be able to hold gatherings or have people over for random games in a few weeks if anybody is ever willing. =)
 
lol sort of, the grouch of my family home is possibly moving out so I won't be as embarrassed or worried to have people over.
 
Any touney's or gatherings in Chicago planned for the summer? I am more than willing to make the 3+ hour drive there to play offline with all you guys.

@Femi4eva If your still down for playing during the summer Ill drive to Milwaukee no prob.

Anyone else live close-ish to Green Bay/ Will be there during the summer?
 
I don't know about anything planned tournament wise, but we usually get together every Thursday or so and play. Other than that, I'll be finishing up this semester next month and have decided not to do summer school, so I should have a bunch more free time next month.

Grats on you finishing up your semester first of all!
You should chill at my place if you're ever bored some day. First time my mom would have to meet you, but otherwise I'm pretty much open whenever. There's free food in the form of you having the option to raid my kitchen.
 
I'm sure that'd be no problem at all.

Other than that, for anyone else who may be reading this topic, you all are more than welcome to contact any of us, should you want to play some games offline.

I was just wondering when we'd be able to reserve these rooms.

I figure Dev will run on, what? Sat. and Sunday, maybe (gotta go ahead and check the thread)? So we can go ahead and reserve them for Friday, Sat, and Sunday, and then I'll go ahead and put whatever money I have left over from the 250 towards this trip to the renting of the vehicle; I'll let them all handle the gas and the rest of the rental price.
 
Hawkeye and his cousin like that game; I think it's trashy and will probably only play it at his place. >_>

I'm just waiting to see who is taking me up on this offer bruh. I don't wanna overbook any rooms if things fall through for other people. As it is right now I can reserve the rooms and have them waiting for when we get there. I'm not sure if me and mine might not make it there a day early and leave a day late but I can definitely get y'all room for those days. So let me know when y'all are solid and I'll set it up.
 
Uh hey guys do you spend the night? I feel awkward asking when I'm so new to the group and all but I'm being nagged about it. My mom is heading back home after dropping me off and is trying to plan her day and me staying would give her a more lenient schedule; if that's what you guys do.

Yeah, we pretty much always do.
 
I don't mean to impose but is it alright if I stay too? My mom is bugging me about how packed her day is and keeps alluding to how thatd make things easier.
