[Chicago, IL] anyone out here play?

I can't come this week either. Got myself grounded by calling my mom's boyfriend fat? I don't even know. But I'll be at next weeks for sure, and the week afterwards rachael should be coming along with me. I think Lost is awesome, his shocking honesty makes my day.
 
Hi everyone. Just to let you guys know if you are around Milwaukee, we play fighting games every tuesday night from around 5 pm til midnight. If you would like some info on the location let me know.

Also we have a tournament coming up June 25th in MIlwaukee, here is all the information:

No Soul Calibur but when SC5 drops it will definitely be a mainstay on the lineup.

In case you guys don't know, Jimmy Choi runs tournaments about every 3 weeks in Madison and still gets some people in there for Calibur.
 
So I've got a date and everything: I'll be hosting a gathering on the 2nd of July. So the weekend after next. Talking over what will be going on, and so far there will probably be pizza and soda with other random junk food. Possibly a bbq if we can afford a decent sized grill and the food for it. If anybody can bring a standard def TV that'd be cool, otherwise we're playing on my HD one. I have SC, MK, and should have MVC3 by then but if anyone wants to play other games you'll have to bring them. If we want to play a different game on a seperate PS3 you'll have to bring that too.

My family is coming over(which is basically just my aunt and her two kids; the son is our age but doesn't play fighters very much/well and the daughter is like 13 I think). Some family friends are coming over too with their kids so we have to keep it PG-13(sorry guys =\). After the family friend's kids leave it won't matter nearly as much. I've got a cat and a dog too if alergies are a problem or something. Hope none of this puts you guys off and you'll still join in. Its entirely free, though I'd appreciate you thanking my mom if you enjoy yourselves. If there's any questions just send me a PM/text/ask while I'm there this coming Thursday.

Sorry for bitching out the last month and not getting any games in been busy and my mom is pretty sick =\.
 
There's no reason to apologize; everyone was just wondering when we'd see you again and everyone understands people have other obligations.

Other than that, lil' bro should be back here from being a family man on monday, so he'll come more than likely come through for some games, too, everybody.

On top of that, if anyone's looking at this thread, just know that anyone's invited to these gatherings; they're not really exclusive.

On top of THAT, even, I personally think the BBQ would be a great time to come through and get some games Senzait! And I'm pretty sure Seph stays relatively close to you too, Luff!
 
Just here to say hi to you guys. I'm a guy who loves SC4 and lives in Chicago. I've been looking for people to play against. This site was linked to me from the Toronto live stream playing today. I'm really freakin excited because my friends stopped playing SC4 with me and I've been getting the jones. And also I dislike playing online a lot because it changes the way I play, which it already did. But I'm busy at work and will leave town shortly for vacation. But after wards, I'll be back and rearing for some matches. So I guess this is just for introduction sakes.

I still play MK :p. I'm just trashy at it. I'm that really scrubby reptile player from that one bbq thing. I opened a window because it was hot as hell in that back room...

anyone going to the techweek thing? a friend of mine is setting up a gaming lounge there. knowing my friend, there'll be SC4.
 
I need you guys QQ. I resorted to playing online with my subs and its...its so terrible...They never stop pressing buttons :(.

You already know we're always down to play so long as we're free! =D

Actually just got finished playing online and met someone who may come play with us. Hopefully, he checks out the thread and hits us up!
 
I don't care either way, me missing out is rarely a matter of convenience. Generally it is one of three things. I have to get something done and can't make room for games, my family is too busy(I'm a really family-first type of guy so if theey need help I pass on games to give it to them), or I'm in a weird mood and don't feel like getting up and doing anything.

Certainly(me and everyone else that lives here) up to having you guys over again, just can't host every week. We're having a bit of money trouble so couldn't afford to feed everyone. Sadly how my mom works is if she's hosting people in the house she feels obligated to feed them. =\

We grown as hell!! Ders no need to put a burden on ur mom wen it comes to feeding ur guest. We can feed ourselves. LOL. but i understand. U may need to talk 2 LostProvidence cuz he always asking for food..LOL. Overall, if u host we can jus bring sumthings in advance.

P.s. Hosting doesnt mean everyweek...LOL. Im the one hosting jus about everyweek tho. LOL
