Confirmed Characters?

So um.. o_o why would i pay money for this?? it looks like the exact same game, but with two new characters and two new stages.. weeee.. and if it doesn't include zas that's the last nail on the coffin.
 
Something that occurred to me this morning is how many of the unconfirmed characters were technically secret characters in past games. I know one booth monkey at E3 said the roster would require no unlocking this time, but I tend not to believe that, since it's never happened before. Maybe they intend to keep a few of these secret all the way until release, though I don't recall there being any secrets when SCIV came out. Here's the current canonical AWOL list, with numbers in front of their names for games in which they had to be unlocked. Numbers after their names indicate games where they were standard.

Kilik is the only one who wasn't absent or (technically) a secret in 4, or ever. The others are either new since SC1, or have always been secret characters.

I know this isn't exactly a revelation to most of us, but I think about the people who are afraid that Yoshi won't be in the game, and I don't know what the Hell goes on in their minds, so maybe this will make them feel better.
 
yeah, right...just that setsuka has been confirmed AGES ago ;)

and none of Olcadan/Edgemaster/Charade/Inferno were in SC4, were they?
 
I think it just occurred to me who is the last "3rd" replacement. Its going to be the randomizer who was missing from SC4 - Charade/Edge/etc.
Fastest character to make ;p
 
Are you assuming that the Star Wars characters need to be replaced at a perfect 1:1 ratio? That's baseless. Next you'll say we need five bonus characters under a star icon.
 
with recent cas characters shown in screenshots via IGN. I guess it's safe to assume that Kilik and Zas are confirmed in the game.

A character using Rock's mace is in. I think it's safe to assume Talim, Amy and Yoshi will be in as well.
 
There's a pic there of a pink elf princess with a muppet on her shoulder, and she's holding a wand in a girlie pose. That's probably enough to confirm Amy.
 
Oh, I was under the impression that he was a character from another game like kratos. Sorry for the stupid question. But he has an awesome sense of fashion.
