Normal Hit Combos

:A::A:- 30 Damage
Simple combo
:4::A::A:- 39 Damage
Practically the same, but with a little more startup time
:A::+::K:,:A:- 34 Damage
Once again, a simple double high, but with much needed speed
:B::+::K::B:- 30 Damage
Two quick overhead hits
:3::B::2::B:- 32 Damage
Quick hits, and a good follow up
:3::B:~:4::4::B:- 35 Damage
Same :3::B: setup, sends the opponent reeling across the ground
:3::B:~:4::A::+::B:~:6::A::+::B:- 55 Damage
Ah, the old force pick up. This should almost be common sense, but here it is
:4::4::B:~:4::A::+::B:~:6::A::+::B:- 63 Damage
One of the many attacks to lead to the force pickup and stab. You can do the other force attack, but it takes more of the gauge to do, and is better reserved for ring outs.
:3h: or :9h::B:~:1::B::A:- 52 Damage
Very strict timing on the second part
:2h: or :8h::B:~:3::K::B:- 48 Damage
A neat little combo, does decent damage
:6::6::B:~:1::B::A:- 51 Damage
A quick follow up to Vader's launcher. Make sure his animation for the launcher is finished before you try the second part.
:1h: or :7h::B:~ WS :B:- 53 Damage
Long step slash followed by a simple :B:
:1h: or :7h::B:~WS :K:- 50 Damage
Same move, slightly less damage
:1h: or :7h::B:~WS :B::+::K:- 64 Damage
Same, but with a standing force attack.
:1h: or :7h::B:~FC:A::+::B:- 68 Damage
That ol move again, followed by a force attack. Very powerful, but drains the force gauge
:3h: or :9h::B::+::K:~:2::A::+::B:~:2::Ah::+::Bh:~:4::A::+::B:~:6::A::+::B:- 51 Damage
A good way to get the ball rolling with stuns and force pickups
:3h: or :9h::B::+::K:~:2::A::+::B:~:2::Ah::+::Bh:~:2::B::+::K:~:4::A::+::B:~:6::A::+::B:- 62 Damage
Same combo, strict timing, but rewarding
:3::B::+::K:~:4::4::B:~:4::A::+::B:~:6::A::+::B:- 51 Damage
Another little combo leading into the "Dark Side".
8 Way Run :A::+::B:~:2::B::+::K:~:4::A::+::B:~:6::A::+::B:- 42 Damage
Meh, good for a quick hit and follow up, but a lot of force usage.
:3h: or :9h: :A::+::K:~:4::A::+::B:~:6::A::+::B:- 66 Damage
Very nice for catching sidestepping! Punishment galore. Keep in mind, though, if you hit the opponent far away, your :6::A::+::B: won't turn into an attack throw, so just use :A::+::B:.
:4::4::K:~:4::A::+::B:~:6::A::+::B:- 56 Damage
Yes! Vader's awkward flip kick comes in handy! Good damage, though it can be teched if opponents roll to Vader's left side.
:4::4::B::+::K:~:2::B::+::K:~:2::Ah:+:Bh:~:3::K::B:-79 Damage
A fairly impressive little combo with nice damage output, but force heavy use.

Natural Counter Combos (stuns)

:B::B:- 43 Damage
Standard combo, stuns on the second hit.
:B::B:~:4::B:- 67 Damage
Said combo with a kicker. The second part is quick enough to catch up, and even ring out.
:1::B::A:- 36 Damage
Vader's bread and butter quick move, use it often
:1h: or :7h: :A::B:- 47 Damage
A nice fast move, grounds the opponent.
:6::B::B:- 31 Damage
Quick and gives you breathing room. Good to use after standing up from moves
:6::B::bG:~:A::+::B:- 81 Damage
Great combo. Sets up for other combos if you stop at the stun.
:B::+::K::B::B:- 57 Damage
The earlier combo comes full circle.
:3::B::+::K:~:1::B::A:- 52 Damage
After the first hit, it's all stun counter, so have at it. After the :A:, the opponent's back is slightly turned, so do what you will from this point.
:B::B:~:4::4::B:+:K:~:2::B:+:K:~:2::Ah:+:Bh:~:4::A::+::B:~:6::A::+::B:- 99 Damage
A long combo, frustrating for the other player, but fun to watch. You can get past the damage scaling with the last part if they are trying desperately to tech, in which case this combo does 127 damage.
:6::B::bG:~:B::B:~:4::4::B:+:K:~:2::B:+:K:~:2::Ah:+:Bh:~:4::A::+::B:~:6::A::+::B:- 95 Damage
A safer way to set up the above combo. The same applies with the teching.
:3::B::+::K:~:4::4::B:~:1::B::A:- 60 Damage
Should look a little familiar. This can be a bit tricky, as you need to catch them in the air after the :B.

Still learning the little nuances of the Sith Lord, but a simple launch combo is 44B or 66B to launch, then 1B, A.

Anyone thinking of making a top ten moves thread for him? He seems to under-used. I hated the slowness initially but i'm learning to work around it.

RiBu: You got two shakable stuns in there sir. 6BBG and BB can both be gotten out of before the next hit.

Looking at them, a number of the combos listed at the top aren't guaranteed at all either.

You can AC 3B+K, 44B, 1BA but you have to time it, have to choose the right direction and it's RO, Wallsplat potential are good so it's still pretty good.

It might be a change from 1.02 but 33B+K 2A+B, 2[A+B] wont link to anything anymore.

some things to add
NC
44B+K A+B 74. You have to start relatively close for this to connect. This can be seen in the video above.
44B+K 8WR A+B 41 gives some RO (and an amusing ground-roll)
44B+K 2B+K 2B+K 3KB 83~89 depending on whether they tech. Credits to RiBu.
44BA+BG 22_88K 42 or 3B+K 44BA+BG 22_88K 57 some RO.
44BA+BG 8WR A+B similar concept but the timing is tighter and you have to start closer.

I defy someone to shake this when done as fast as possible:
6BbGA+BG,1BA 56

6BbGA+BG seems to be where a lot of his mixups are at too, so I think it would be worth learning if you're going to play vader anyway.

Taking advantage of the abnormally large hit stun on some of vaders cancel moves...
Some hit-stun Combos:
Just a little silly, 66bGA+BG, 1B 28 seems to connect. It's very difficult and totally not worth it
Similarly WS aGA+BG, 3B+K, 33B+K, 4B_4B+K 83 but maybe worth it a little more.
Not a combo but worth mentioning WS aGA+BG, 3B+K, 33B+K, 1BA 84 will RO/wallsplat from pretty far away.
This is a combo WS aGA+BG, 3B+K, 33B+K, 2A+B, 4A+BA+BA+B 74 and it ROs from almost as far.
Harder but less force usage fr RO WS aGA+BG, 3B+K, 44BA+BG, 22_88K 77.
and in a corner WS aGA+BG, B+G_A+G A+B 74 I havent been able to break this so far.

It should be noted that WS aG gives incredible block stun so WS aGA+BG > almost anything is a frame trap and not steppable.

Also 6A+B > IMP > A, 1BA does some 47

Not guaranteed but people get hit by this alot.

6BbG,1A+B, 2[A+B], 4A+B, A+B, 2B+K, 4A+B, 6A+B - 120 damage

The only part not guaranteed is the 1A+B but many people fall for it, and if they try to tech during the combo the damage scaling gets reset and the combo ends up doing around 3/4 life damage. This combo requires 100% Force though so if the opponent never techs or if you don't have enough Force it's better to do 6BbG,1A+B, 22_88B (or 11_77B) for around 117 damage.

Also didnt see this combo mentioned:

3B+K, 44B, 1BA

This seems to be his best combo from 3B+K that uses minimal Force.

Something interesting that may be known, but haven't seen it up yet.

After a 2B+K, even if they tech they can't block 3KB:
So like 8WR A+B,2B+K,3KB they can seem to tech it.
Rebuilds his meter and keeps them on the ground so it's a nice alternative to the 2A+B,4A+B shenanigans.Also just seems to rape get-ups anyways. . hmmm

Anyone find any usefulness to 4A+B, 4A+B? I know you can follow with B+K and then another ground throw, but uses lots of force. Anyone think of something?

I might be mistaken on this but the further away the opponent is from you when you catch with 4A+B 4A+B the better it works out. As an example if you hit with 44A+K at is full range then 4A+B 4A+B while they are rolling away they get brought back in front of you and you get 44B+K or anything faster for free. I was experimenting with doing this off of 44BA+BG set up, but my execution skills dont seem up to the task...

/edit/ I just got it and while it does connect after the 4A+B 4A+B you're out of force and cant follow up. So no good there.

WS B+K,3KB-45 damage. Not to bad. WS B+K uses almost no force and gives him a knock down.

WS aGA+B/1A+B seem to knock them away far enough for the 4A+B 4A+B to work and have still an ample amount of force. I can't really find a good combo with it though.
I think aG1A+B,4A+B4A+B,BB does 110 though so. . hot damn

I love 8WR A+B. After it though, 2[A+B], 2B+K, 3KB seems too rebuild force better. Nice 45 damage combo that doesn't take up much force. I've actually been using 3KB a lot more of combo enders.

erm. . I'm way out of force how are you doing the BB,44B+K,2A+B,4A+B4A+B,2B+K,3KB? 4A+B A+B throws them behind you. . .

Second one works, but uses way to much force. . .again 4A+B 4A+B knocks behind him. . .

same deal with the 3rd.

How are you making the 4A+B4A+B keep them in front of you?

its 4A+B, A+B the one the he uses to throw them straight up in the air, yeah it uses a lot of force but does decent damage, and it looks epic lol.

the 3rd one doesnt use that much force.

I am completely new to this game and I have always been a Vader fan so I am looking to main him and for now strictly using him only. I am an avid Mortal Kombat player and I understand this game requires a lot more skill. I am looking forward to learn and I never hold back.
