so i was in the undead crypt and i decided to let the torch undead live since he doesn't actually attack you at all. the weird thing was that he followed me all the way to agdayne's hangout but never attacked. and he conveniently walked back to where he started out at instead of triggering agdayne's groupies. he's muh new waifu
 
so against my better judgment i decided to join the reds because free arenas are free. i was getting kinda bored of using my defender's GS so i went in with the thorned GS (from the mirror knight). apparently people don't know that you can fire off its R2 lightning bolts back-to-back, as in pressing R2 R2 R2...etc. while the bolt doesn't do too much damage, getting the sword and the bolt to hit does quite a bit. most people can dodge the 1st R2 easily, but then i womp 'em with another R2.

i also started using heavenly thunder a lot more. starting to like it for the same reason i like scraps of life....you aren't just sitting there while it's going off. so you don't get back-stabbed nearly as much as with the firestorm variants. the only thing i don't like about it is that since the thunder comes from above (instead of below like with scraps/storm) it doesn't knock people off the edge as well.

I'm sure she would be stopped by the doorway she can't possibly fit through first. Vendrick and Velstaddtdttd too.
Also, I'm sure Nashandra could just climb over, if not step over the wall into Aldia's Keep.
Also also, if I were her, I'd just go find the rest of Manus first before worrying about the so-called Great Soul she's barred from.
Also also also, couldn't the captured have just sung at any time to completely disable Nashandra... Why would you bring Kryptonite into your own home? How would she have captured her in the first place? And who is the guy chained to the door and how does the Demon of Song have the key? And what is the Demon of Song anyway?

I thought it was pretty obvious that Ancient Dragon was fake... the cat does say it pretty blatantly after all. What Vaati didn't mention is why there are Drakekeepers, or why Ancient Dragon is mossy and actually ancient-looking when nothing else related to Aldia is... (in the timeline he came up with, Drangleic Castle is built before Vendrick knows anything is wrong, therefore the shiny, pristine Drangleic Castle must be older than the mossy, old Ancient Dragon) or why Shanalotte says shes 'born of the dragon, contrived by men', separating the two.

I know he can't have all the answers or anything, and I know he has to put out videos, but I just feel he could've done more... whatever story is there though, I can't help but feel that it doesn't involve your character particularly well... it kind of sounds like a 'them problem' to me. Either way, I had far too many questions after watching that video to go along with it.

was syan's halberd that common? i mean i use it all the time with my quality build, but i have never ever encountered it online at all.also i don't think GRS really needed the nerf. if you're going to nerf GRS, might as well nerf the lightning spears.
 
I was thinking about Dark Souls 2 in relation to the first game and stumbled across this video. Pretty much agree with everything this guy said, thought I'd share it.

 
Syan's halberd wasn't common but the weapon was able to stunlock you in 4 hits before you can roll out. Santier spear and rightly so is getting nerfed, it will no longer be a buffable weapon and hoping it gets a base damage reduction. Wish weapon hitboxes would be fixed...seems like it'll always be around, literally impossible to play a spacing game in pvp
 
I'm currently sunbro-ing it up trying to be Good Guy Landslide and atone for all the horrible, rotten things I did to people in DS1.

... that is, before I decide to do some more.
 
and you get a sick sunbro shield.....or it would be sick if it were actually any good. i use it though because i wouldn't be a real sunbro without using my sun sword, shield, and sun spear at the same time.
 
it's kinda annoying when i'm sunbroing while cruising the DS2 forums and i see so much whining about SM and high level characters. i don't get it, we know level doesn't factor into matchmaking and i'm pretty sure FROM isn't just gonna "fix" or remove their new mechanic.so the only really reasonable conclusion is to keep leveling up beyond the 150-meta (or whatever it is nowadays).
