Are you sure you got the notations right? 7PK isn't launching. 9PK does launch, but I don't get much out of it so far.
Are the first 2 hits of Hitomi's 4PP a natural combo? I know P+KP is natural.

So apparently theres been a fighting game scene at my school under my fucking nose and I had no idea! Today at my school we had a free day since freshman were testing, which is basically where the staff gives you a bunch of TVs in the cafeteria and say "Enjoy, go outside, or get the fuck on." I usually am bored by these days because all anybody usually does is stay inside and watch old movies or go outside and go into the woods to do dirty teenager things. So I'm drifting through the cafeteria and I see a group of people that don't usually associate with each other crowded around a TV with an xbox. And because I generally love all things video games I went to check shit out. I was expecting Call Of Duty or some other first person shooter but then it was DOA and I was like
I asked if I could play and they basically said "Were not in the mood for scrubs" in nicer terms. And then I was like
Long story short I 'proved myself' to them and we had some really good matches. Apparently they all go to this one guys house every saturday and practice. They even carpool to tournaments and stuff! I've made some good friends.

This is one fucking amazing stroke of luck. I'm really glad that you've found an offline scene to play at neither less at your own school! Keep things kicking dude and spread that DOA love!
The "not in the mood for scrubs" attitude is shitty though. Those guys should've been trying to attract more potential players instead of shitting on them.

The attitude at first was really unescesarry. They assumed I was bad before we even played.
And I have a new respect for tournament players! Playing online is so different from playing in front of a bunch of people offline. I'm not even a naturally nervous person and I was jittery. It was a good experience.

Indeed, DOA doesn't exactly have the largest offline communities (same with SC) and it is totally uncalled for to shut people down at all nevertheless at least giving them a chance.
I think I mentioned it earlier in this thread (and probably others) but DOA5 is amazing offline. I've been to a couple tournaments and the thrill of a close battle is unrivaled. Wait until you have your first match on stream and let me know the experience. Your true play will come out.

hey guys. i just read a leak/rumor that DOA5 will be re-released for the wii-U and the new PS4 (called "Omni") in 2013. not 100% sure if the info is accurate but with how detailed the info is i would be surprised if it wasn't.

Its actually being released for Vita. They're calling it DOA5: Plus.

It was announced, funnily enough, at IPL so I'm guess this really won't differ much (gameplay wise) from the current console version, considering that Hayashi is touting it as an on-the-go practice tool.
In other news, Exhibition mode with all characters and (almost) all costumes unlocked has been confirmed for the next patch.
