I was fortunate enough to be able to try a demo of the game at the Ubisoft booth at Sydney Supanova. It was extremely limited with only a single vs CPU mode and only a small number of the current SCIV roster being selectable (Kratos and Dampierre were there but 'not available').
I only tried out Hilde so the changes I noticed are mostly garnered from her.
- Full Doom combo no longer works; 44K no longer does slide-kickback from C3B (does a light bounce instead). I couldn't re-pickup with C2B.
- C2AA no longer has slide ring out from distance. Need to be closer to the edge to get the them out now.
- CF has changed. The input for CF now seems to do a special attack that will only CF when landing it breaks the SG. Whilst I could get them down to red just like the console version, I couldn't break via normal SG damage. I only got this off once though so I'm not sure how accurate this is.
Apart from those few points the game engine looks largely unchanged from SC4 and looks to be a rather good port.
