DLC Characters: Who would you pay for?

Who would you buy?

Guys, what if that slot next to Edge Master wasn't for Algol but for DLC characters? I'm kind of questioning Algol being playable because we haven't seen him in any gameplay or anything.

I would take anything regarding the return of other fighters.

Any of them as long as they had a non-copied moveset. IdleMine's (alleged?) mention of DLC and the 3 mimics are why I'm even waiting for a price drop.

Agreed. Their absence is conspicuous.

Imagine Street Fighter without E. Honda or Dhalsim. Not the most popular characters, but the fact that they were there somehow reinforces the "Street Fighter-iness" of it.

Does that make any sense?

SF3? Alpha 1 (for E. Honda)? Alpha 2? (Street Fighter 1 wasn't very "Street Fighter" at all though)

The sad thing is, if we want any of those Unique character/styles, we are going to have (possibly) pay $4.99 per character/style. That's (possibly) the price for the game to feel complete to some.

My Choices:
Yun-Seong-The current roster lacks the style. Plus I would like to see how he looks 17 years from SCIV if PS ever did so.
Talim, Zasalamel-Same reason as Yun-Seong.
Seong Mina-Personality is priceless to me. That's probably why I like Natsu.
Bangoo-Because he's Bangoo. duh! lol
Other new characters I'll buy too.

It's unfortunate, but it seems to be the new business model. I'll admit that I've been suckered into DLC I didn't really use. Or DLC for a game I turned around and sold shortly thereafter.

Nowadays I try to take a minute to think about how much I plan to play a given game before I decide I want the DLC. And in my particular case, given the demands on my time, SCV is the only game I'll be playing for a long time. So I'll probably buy whatever they decide to put out.

And that's my lengthy justification for buying DLC. :P

Hey man, no justification needed. It's a BS business tactic that is now just part of the video game industry. Because of my job i go to E3 every year, and I hear company reps laugh about that shit. But whatever, we choose to buy or not buy. I guess there are worst thing to spend your money on like whores and drugs. (well drugs anyway)

Hookers and blow!

Know what it reminds me of? Those hotel room service bars. Those little fridges that hold snacks and little alcohol bottles and things. Damn those things.

It's always a good idea not to give the customer everything they want. If you get your customer completely satisfied, you've just put yourself out of business!

So with that in mind, I got to thinking about the characters that didn't make the cut. And I'm relatively certain we'll see some of those characters showing up in the form of DLC add-ons. Better those characters than Kilik, Elysium, aPat, etc. You'd be less likely to buy those characters if they were offered as DLC, so they just gave them to us instead.

So anyway. Who would you buy?
Hey man since you did this why dont you do this as a petition on facebook, about all of them, too see how it turns out.
