Does anyone ever go back to play this game.

Very often, because I like to compare the move changes of my favorite characters and hey! I miss the old CAS a bit. D:

Well, some costumes were a little on the "meh" side, and some were quite more awesome than past or future costumes- ahem, Setsuka 1p, Maxi 2P, and Voldo 2P, ahem.

I really liked SC3 to the fact that it had many enjoyable modes to make up for the fact that they didn't have room for any else... But the graphics looked crappy. SC2 was better. :]
 
I play sc3 occasionally for the epic stages and even more epic music. If I had a next gen console and a copy of sc4, I'd play sc3 much more, still. Aside from better balance and fixed glitches, sc4 has nothing on the previous games. Whack.

I do miss Setsuka's sakura tree stage in SC4.
 
i play from time when i get too disgusted with sc4 asta... sc3 asta = greatest asta yet... safe as fuck and 50% b&b combos... *besides sc2 asta being able to cancel bullrush* and i also miss valeria, li long, arthur, yuna... now if i go further back i miss necrid... man is my favourite character in sc yet... more than asta... also sc4 arcade mode is probably the worst in history... sc3 was a lot better... just look at sf4... thats how u should make an arcade mode... btw demuth is a gay remake of lee from last blade...
 
SC3's home version didn't have an arcade mode. In what way is SC4's the "worst in history?" It's just a normal arcade mode.

sc4 just doesn't cut it... despite all the new addition to asta... i rather have sc3 asta back... i was seriously dissapointed when i first played this game at oof's... and more and more to the point where at one point i wouldn't even pick him and play with random characters... *any other character in sc is a random character to me* i still play sc4 but lost a lot of love for the game... if people still played i rather sc3 anyd day...

btw screw sc... its all about sf4 now ... till !!!kof12!!!
 
PhilBond SC3 did have one. The quick battle in mission mode was the arcarde mode and it an 4's are exactly the same so they both must be the worst in history. Maybe he meant story mode.
 
Quick Play is under Soul Arena alongside Mission mode, it's not under Mission mode. And while it's true that Quick Play is just like an arcade mode in any other game, I fail to see how it's better or worse than any other arcade mode ever. That's what arcade machines are like in the case of Soul Edge, Soul Calibur 1, and every Street Fighter or Tekken machine ever made.
