Dman- I'm not standing in the way of anything right now, as much as I'm trying to push something forward. I mean if someone gets excluded, and some new player sees nobody listed in that person's area and just goes off saying "Well, I'm screwed." Is that not a bad thing?

It also doesn't help that S-U came into chat, and after I tried to explain that I felt that way, he went off on me about how I assume things and that he networks in his own ways. He then goes on to tell me that he doesn't need my support and doesn't like me, nobody cares about me and I'm just an online no-name so I'm "written off" and I'm suddenly an obstacle that he'll "move." Really, I'm more active offline than a lot of the people on this list. I played my part at DEV and showed I'm willing to help the community, but S-U doesn't like me, so my support is thrown away. Mhm, like hell I'm going to stay out of this thread now.

DK- Lobo ALONE is why SCIV was at dev this year. Dev had a rather lousy turnout 2 years ago, and it was all but written off if lobo hadn't done anything. I'm not going to speak for lobo, but that was somewhat of a lousy thing to say to him.

Why is Vicious listed under SoCal?

I know for a fact (after talking to him both in person and on the phone) that he is not going to be touching SC4 anymore.

The only people in SoCal that have really played in recent history (and by that I mean in the months leading up to DEV) to my knowledge are Me, King Salmon, BeefyLoveLord, and Mfiedor (new guy from PSN who decided to play offline). Also, we haven't had a gathering since before DEV, and really we only played like once every several weeks.

The reason your post look useless is cause you keep on about " oh well whats this for? oh this looks like its going to just blah blah match finder" That alone stirs up the smack talk from the other haters cause its what they want to hear. Truth is i don't think any of us know what SU has exactly got in mind but he asked for some feedback and were kindly responding. You think there is a better direction? Well go post your thoughts on a thread and see how it works out for you. Its no different from whats going on here.

Because all progress starts somewhere, and before anything really got into any kind of discussion, you people came in here and begun derailing the thread. We're trying to start something and your demanding questions from us; exactly who the fuck are you anyway to demand questions from anyone.

If you have any great ideas, I have yet to see them. The only thing any of you have done is criticize, criticism that is completely driven by your disdain for SU.

This excuse you keep posting about damaging the match finder, is just a that; an excuse to justify your BS posts.

After FSAK a great many of you plan to quit the game, that's the idea I am getting from reading some of the stuff on site. Idlemind himself says he's done after this...but the game will still be here and some of us will still be playing it, so whatever it takes, however it starts SU has the right idea even if it hasn't formed into anything solid yet.

No, my criticism did not come without ideas, and I have given them. A tiny bit of reading goes a long way, but apparently my posts are too "useless" for you. I have had no beef with S-U until he just recently started it with me today. This "framework" had already been a few pages underway before I made a post pointing out all the silly stuff S-U had said. It needed to be pointed out that DEV wasn't able to be counted as a major next year. Else what were you going to do? Sit here planning on it till june when SC gets excluded and you're in a position of "now what?" But SU says this is "too negative" for the thread and wants it deleted, then tells me he doesn't like me and that my support isn't needed? Yeah, fuck that, I'll just support people going to FSAK then.

You ask who I am to demand an answer as if I needed to do something to earn the right. Guess what? I shouldn't have to. If I'm going to show my support I need something to show my support to. You act like this thread was starting to have promise before I posted- it didn't at all. S-U continues to say that "framework" is the key word. Framework implies he has a bare minimum plan, and if he had that I wanted to push all my support toward it. But people jumped on me instead of listening, and acted like I'm a monster that wants SC to die.

Really- I still feel that this list will do more harm than good, but things seem to have gotten underway at least a tiny bit with KCD and Nori trying to hold down fort. If S-U decides to resurrect NE, all the power to him. But that's not a framework for a national revival, and you and I both know it. So regardless of how this turns out, I'm going to focus my attention on what KCD decides to throw in cali.

I'm not going to support a vague list of players that I feel could give the complete wrong impression to new players just because it's a supposed "framework" for rebuilding a game I love.

How can a list of players who play offline and/or online scare new people off? Right beside the names on the list, shows if they are active or not. That should tell them who to look for to find an offline scene. This game is so dead, nobody in the Central region, who has the most active players, aren't posting anymore in the regional threads. I don't see your point.

Oh and do you have a youtube vid of you walking in the dark, with night vision on. Ranting on camera how people don't like you on 8way? Something about you did some bad stuff or something like that? I saw a vid like that and your avatar looks like the guy in the vid. Somebody posted that vid on a thread and I can't find it.

ManMcManLove: I think you are looking at this list in the wrong way. It is a list of people who are traveling for tournaments. I, nor anybody else, elected SU as our savior or chosen I champion. However, since he had a great idea, why not run w/it? You think trying to be the "leader" of a dead game is anything special now? SC players need direction and he's trying to give it. Just like Idle tried and others.
Now we are at the point where people need to give back. People have given a lot, and I do mean A LOT for this community. The street fighter, tekken communities never need this help. Do you know why? Cause they continue to show up to support their current game, no matter what. They don't ban stupid shit, they don't shed tears over nonsense, they just show up and play. W/out a central leader, shit needs to get done by ourselves. I will continue to hold tourneys, continue to hype it up, and continue to torture online players until they get off their ass and prove otherwise (players such as xeph, tha_shogun are now traveling to get better, much respect).

This list is meant to gauge to others who you can expect to actually show up and who won't. There is no fucking way anybody is going to convince me that Bubbles is some offline player now. For 2 years, since I met him online, I've been telling him to show up to offline majors and I have yet to see his name. If he can't travel, then he can't. This isn't meant to attack him, it's meant to tell ALL online players to wake the fuck up and see reality. If people don't get off their ass and show up to offline tourneys, we are fucked.

I know lobo for years and only recently met SU at Nationals. I like both guys personally, and get along w/them personally. Truthfully, I don't understand why they are going at each other throats. And I don't want your explanation. I'll ask them both offline cause this is pretty ridiculous. It's a dead game and they argue for what to me, seems like no reason. Let's stop this whole SU vs the world conspiracy, and I highly doubt SU would say "you don't matter to me" cause that's ridiculous. Everybody matters, and the point is, MAKE yourself matter by showing up, or attempting to. This is directed at everybody, not you.

nori, freaky and bubbles have both organized offline gatherings in their area. bubbles is confirmed for FSAK. both have been pushing for the VA/MA scene for a long long time. in fact, VA/MA is only listed because bubbles asked him to include them...twice. yet they are not there because SU is mad at them from PSN vendettas. LOL.

Riiiiiiight! Its easy to forget all the Saturday night OFFLINE sessions Bubbles hosts and attends on a regular basis. Whos at those sessions as well? Tiamat too right? Dont give that homeboy. You know just as well as everybody in chat and everybody on this site that Bubbles does not play offline. Hell, he was in chat today jerking off to ONLINE Mick and 44B. On top of that, Bubbles's first two post should say enough about how serious he was about supporting this in the fuckin first place. Just thirsty to fuckin troll and get his +1's in. So....about Freaky and Bubbles. I would say that Bubbles has organized one gathering and Freaky has organized none. Bubbles did play me OFFLINE once at a small gathering in Baltimore (most recent time I played I think, though it was a few months ago). He doesn't have his own car so transportation is difficult for him. He did coordinate with me and Promethius for this session, and I think he was the one who suggested it, so maybe that counts as him "organizing" it. Freaky on the other hand is someone I've tried to arrange games with multiple times and he's never put in the effort on his end. I find this funny because according to google the guy lives maybe 25 mins from me. Bubbles and Promethius on the other hand live a good 2 hours or so from me yet not that close to each other either. As for me, I am an inactive player but I do still check our match finder thread so if someone does try to organize a gathering I will know about it. Freaky could not have organized a gathering without me knowing.

So for the sake of clarification let's point out what has happened here. This thread has more support by a long stretch than it does haters. This idea/initiative of mine has more support by miles than it does haters and how do I know this? I can outsource without this website as a result of actually being a part of the scene showing up to tournaments and such on a global level meeting people, getting respect, etc. In fact I do not even need this site besides for some minor things.

Let's also for the sake of clarification point out that the hate that is in this thread is indeed strong/potent but this hate is absurdly small and irrelevant. How can I make a statement like that? Here's how... THE HATE THAT IS IN HERE IS COMING FROM THE EXACT SAME THREE PEOPLE OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND U SOUND LIKE A BROKEN RECORD. The hate is indeed that small and for clarification I will point out the 3 names for awareness so people can begin to dodge ur posts since the mods on here like always are not doing there job. VINCENT (who is a known troll from start to finish and its all over his post history), LOBO (who is my #1 hater and always has been this is not new), and RANDOM DUDE I NEVER HEARD OF (who resides ironically in the same state as LOBO and is one of his anti S-U goons).

That's correct the most u have ever done is probably show up to a casual session if that and drove people to and from DEV (congrats on ur first contribution in its small stature). Who are u again and why have I not heard of u in any shape or form? Did u fight for the community like I did on important matters? Wait I once fought for the community on the matters of bans at the appropriate time when it was crucial and it actually made sense. Do you know what happened? The threads got locked and do u know how many times? A mind boggling three times if I remember correctly. Horrible modship has always been one of the banes of this community just like what u see in here. The result; Hilde made people quit etc. A year later or more mods then forced bans down peoples throats at the wrong time. These bans made people quit again and damaged our image and in terms of results was and is not justified. It minimized potential turnouts or in some cases delayed them in an already dieing game. Not smart and still no one wants to own up to it. What was I doing for the community? Fighting for it once again but this time trying to explain how it was now wrong to ban. The timing was just ridiculous and dumb for the community. I'm sure this one is still very fresh in peoples memories as both my threads and Oofmatic's were being locked left and right.

Now look at our scene. Do u see a pattern? Now I decided to step up not just as a popular player with background that even stretches from online and look at all the things mods are doing wrong again in this thread. Why has no one noticed this recurring theme? Were u around then Mr. Random Guy? In fact go look up my entire thread history and u will realize I was always one step ahead and almost all of my threads are community oriented just like this one. Not to long ago I also attempted to use the popularity surrounding my name that I gathered from online as the best online to offline successor and my offline status to see whatever it was I could do for online players whether it be increase their play level or get them to come offline.

Guess what happened? It was locked again lol for the simple fact that Lobo was to concerned how it would make me popular over the potential benefits it could have had. There were two original searchers for getting people offline from online. That was KrayzieCD first and he still is and me Something-Unique. Here's what makes me a bigger and better person than u haters. I don't need to brag about what I have done. Just like I stated in this thread in response to Jaxel's post this is bigger than me or anyone else but low and behold my haters are to concerned with my popularity as opposed to what I could potentially do for the community. So with that said I am glad their is more support for this and here is whats gonna happen just like I told u in java chat as well RANDOM GUY. If u are in my way from here on I will MOVE YOU and please believe I can do it just like I told u. You are already fighting a losing battle. I barely if at all need this site to accomplish what I am doing here I just simply asked for help and to make people aware of this movement.

Last but not least here goes some informative info for u 3 haters. The thing that haters never realize is that u can be manipulated for benefit in a number of different ways but ur to occupied by hate that u fail to realize how. It's a known fact in life and ill leave u to think about how in the end ur benefiting me :). Go help KrayzieCD all the better ;p afterall he is one or the important pieces in this attempt. @ tiamat...thanks for the clarification. i used them as examples but did so without knowing the whole story. either way what i meant by naming them is that there are in fact players knowingly and willingly excluded because of personal grudges. i do understand this, but i don't think it is, in any way, a step in a positive direction.

@ nori...people who will travel to play offline? you do realize that most if those listed don't play offline at all. some of them are looooong since retired, some of them are random people SU knows from PSN, some are just posters from the online forum, and some are not even real people. also...there are players in other areas such as colorado, new mexico, arizona just to name one region...who are not included mostly for personal reasons, but also in some cases because they haven't spoken up. that said, they are still active and willing to play, but you'd never know that just by looking here. i don't think that those areas should be overlooked, which is where i see this going.

@ kingace...i genuinely do think that forming this group of everyone that is willing to help the community and participate will have a negative impact because i strongly believe in the regional matchfinders and encouraging discussion and exploration within them. i do think that this thread/list can be discouraging for new people attempting to find offline competition. creating a list of active players by region and perhaps contact info is actually a great idea for an addition to the matchfinders. unfortunately this is largely not that list. if you can't see that then ROFL.

i don't think anybody is discouraging an attempt to bring new life into the game. we all want to see more competition, bigger tournaments, higher pots, more excuses to travel and fuck around and have a good time...

i just think it is being done completely wrong. LOL at being the bad guy for voicing concerns.

@ S-U...i locked one thread...which you made...announcing that you were returning to PSN and looking for players. you know why i did it? because there is a MATCHFINDER for psn already...and many many players have made similar threads and i do my best to keep that forum clean in spite of the level of trolling there. do you think that your thread deserves special treatment? of course you do but too fucking bad. as far as other previous threads...i never touched them. they were locked by others who were trying to preserve the community with bans that came too little and too late. then again...you probably were too busy in front of a mirror to notice that. if you don't need 8wr at all, then why do you use it? why not go to the other organizing soulcalibur site? why not find tournaments and competition on gamefaqs? why not get calibur frame data by testing everything yourself? your arrogance and ingratitude never cease to amaze me.

I'm not sure what you're saying S-U. What have you done so far besides list names? Krayzie did this of his own volition, which I know because I talked to him before he even saw the latter mention of tourneys in this thread. It started with Greatone, actually, and xeph's mentioning of greatone's interest in meeting up with norcal lead to Krayzie saying he would host tourneys. He came to this thread after that. Are you trying to take credit for his saying he'll host these tourneys? Are you trying to pull a: "See? I'm already helping this community get back together."

Guess what, NorCal has had and still has a decent following, I don't think they'll be inactive as long as CD is there. I'd be more willing to accept you'd done something if you, you know, actually did something.

So explain to me, what have you done outside list some random player names? Also tell me, what do you plan to do? If I know what you're planning to do with these names, I'll have no problem supporting you. But as of right now, knowing you didn't contact any of the people you're so depending on until just recently, I can't take this thread seriously and I can't take you seriously.
