Here's today best of 4 match between Saitoh(Astaroth) and C-dric(Mitsurugi), there seems to be some problem on video 01, so i can only reupload it this night.

I posted this earlier, so it may need to be said here too...

I love the use of his 3. However, I was sad in the second vid when he missed 28B+G (or any other high damage option) after a 3, TWICE! He's only human though, so it's all good. :)

After CH6B, 22[K] 22_88B is guaranteed and more damage IIRC. Remember that Saitoh.

I felt like he could've used 2A or 4A just a bit, as it would've gotten Mitsu out of his stances from afar when bullrush would not have reached.

I liked the B+K mindgames. Jumping the low with 8B and then mixing in 6A,B was awesome. Overall, awesome fights and great Asty.

Today, some selections matchs between Hayate's Kilik and Keev's Nightmare :

Well, nor Keev or I have played a lot together, and we lack's some anti-nightmare anti-kilik reaction, but at the end of the gathering, we were reacting much better.

Also edited the first post.

Vincent> Completely, i don't think so. The fact is that every Sophie players have problem upgrading their global level, cause she is very effective with some little stuff. So i'am sure he is training a good Cassandra, but will still able to use his Sophitia, depending on tournament issue.

Great matches by Keev and Saitoh.

I wanted to see another head to head match between these 2.

And I know Keev will do better against Hilde next time. Needs to GI more those charge attacks.

i watched the kayane (X) vs hayate (kilik) series.

Very impressive play by both players. They were very entertaining to watch :)

I have some suggestions for kayane, based on judgements from the videos:

If 214B+G 412B wallsplats, and its not a straight and direct wallsplat, meaning that its kinda sideways, 4A+B 4A+B won't land. The best followup at that point, in my opinion is 1kAAB. They all hit for almost the same damage as 4A+B 4A+B :)

There were many times you could have gotten a free WSK after blocking 2A+K. Hayate happened to do quite a no. of those pretty close.

There were times where you had problem getting in. What I suggest is that instead of focusing on getting close to kilik, into throw range immediately (which can be very difficult), perhaps you could aim to force a 50/50 at 1 to 1.5 character spaces away with WSA+B and FC3B. Both of these moves reach very far; WSA+B has suprisingly long range. when either of these hit, you become closer to kilik, allowing her to force her throw/FC3B/2_85B mix up. plus, even though WSA+B is blocked, there is the B ender to think about.

kilik WSK gives X a free AA. which means that you could have earned a round in the fourth video.

Personally, I am not fond of using space to set up 50/50 against kilik, because he has the range to deal good punishment when he makes any of my spacing tools whiff. Plus when I space, I feel like I am putting myself into kilik's optimum range. I find it best to stick in mid-close range and continuously force in mixups.

I also feel that 22K is very effective gainst kilik. When forced to crouch, stepping to kilik's side is strong because you can mixup between step B and her much more damaging side throws (60/65). Plus when you do so, WSB, WSK will whiff. he is limited to throw/6AA/WSA.

I am very impressed by the auto-gi usage by both players, good sense of space, and the match up knowledge employed.

hayate: Im not sure but i found that in the first few rounds your spacing away of X was kinda insufficient:/ not to imply that your spacing is BAD. It was much better in the 4th round imo. I would love to comment but I am not familiar with kilik.

thank you

I punished some of her 8 5 B with 66A but not enough to discourage her abusing it. Kayane punish whiff very well, so i can't space with move that can end on missing.

The Other tool that i can use for spacing :
- 3A but again she start stepping right into left when she does her step launch, it will probably miss due to semi-circular effect, depend of my timing.
- Maybe more CH AAB, but i fear a lot her iFC 3B ability.

The other spacing move is directly punished by Step-Guard -> 4K / 3B or won't reach.

The reason why she's not approching is probably cause she fear a little my anti-rushing ability. iWS B, 46B, 66B, 2B and 3A+B/2A/Special Throw when she is stepguard forwarding. She still have to do it to deal damage.

Good gameplay by both parties.

Hayate: U can try baiting 25 B and punishing with 66B which i saw u did in one of the videos but i think you did not intend to do that. Ur spacing was good against X. Good reaction against 33~SXS and 1~SXS which u did backperry 214, and Asura which will beat out most options especially against SXS B. I feel that u can use 44A more rather than 11A, u can check counter hit with 44A. Apart from this, you're all good man. Merci!

Kayane: Very good rush in. Keeping out of 66B range and punishing hard. Good variations and reaction. Like what Yuan said, u can try using WSA+B more, mixing it up with FC3B. It's magic there. (:

Looking forward to more.

Great vids i must say. Shens already commented, so yea :)

I must emphasise on X using using way more WS A+B though, it's too hot.
