FSAK Low Tier Leftovers Character Legality Thread

Alright! Time for a fucking debate/fight!

The FSAK side tournament titled "Low Tier" Leftovers is designed to be a tournament full of B tier characters and below. Which characters are which? How do we define that? Well thats the point of this thread.

Let's Assume the Following Parameters when discussing in this thread:

Tier Distinctions:

S-Tier: The tippy top. Also known as "Top Tier"
Example: Amy

A-Tier: The Almost top. Also known as "Upper Mid Tier"
Example: Mitsurugi,

B-Tier: Average characters. Also known as "Mid Tier"
Example: Yun-Seong

C-Tier (and below): Slightly bad and REALLY bad characters. Also known as "Low Tier"
Example: Rock

What I need from you is a list of characters who are B and C tier, as those will be the legal characters for this side tournament. Play nice children.

My tentative list, in no particular order:
Yoda, Rock, Mi-Na, Tira, Taki, Zasalamel, The Apprentice, Yun-Seong, Talim, Raphael, Nightmare, Maxi

That gives us 11 characters, which is a nice Super Turbo-like number. Some people also suggested Lizardman and Xianghua, but I don't think those really belong in a low tier tournament, they have too many "good" tools (especially X) compared to the rest of the low cast.

Thoughts?

Edit: To be clearer, I tried to differentiate those characters in B and C tiers. Here goes:

B tier: The Apprentice, Yun-Seong, Raphael, Nightmare, Tira, Zasalamel, Seung Mi-Na
C tier: Maxi, Yoda, Rock, Taki, Talim

Most people are going to go "lol Tira over Taki wtf?" but honestly, what does Taki have that Tira doesn't? PO? It's useless offline. Bombs? Reactable. Tira can at least sort of deal damage at one point or another, so can Zas. Others? Not so much. Rock, Maxi and Yoda are, well, Rock, Maxi and Yoda. Talim does everything she does TERRIBLY and Taki is in general extremly reactable to, her only good point being that she has an i10 punisher... that deals less than 15 damage, wow!.

I agree with your list but think Sieg should be considered as well. I'll wait on responses before taking a stance as I don't know the character that well.
 
Low Tier Leftover Legal Charaters:

The Apprentice, Maxi, Mina, Nightmare, Rock, Raph, Taki, Talim, Tira, Yoda, Yun, Zas.

Remember this is actually mid tier and below.
 
Edit - read Rigels above and below. Disscussed and itlooks like everyone agrees.
 
Mid - Zasalamel, Taki, Raphael, Nightmare, Siegfried, The Apprentice

Lower Mid - Yun-Seong, Maxi, Talim, Tira

Bottom - Rock, Seong Mi-na, Yoda
 
Zas, Tira, Maxi, Rock, Mina, Raph

everyone else has too much shit to be considered bottom tier imo. Each one of the characters above have a huge disadvantage array with little to know advantages to overcome them.

Taki, Yun and Talim all have good shit and are close to mid as it gets. Nighty and Sieg are at least mid, what is that bs all about?

Apprentice seems shitty but I don't know his match ups well enough to say he is bottom.

Yoda, the only reason to include him is to aggravate people and make really boring matches. But whatever.

This is not bottom tiers only, this is mid tiers and bottom tiers, so all those others are just as allowed as the shit ones.
 
Do not include Yoda. He should be exempt from tiers.

And if you include Nightmare then you'd better have Siegy.

Best part of that lineup is that there are a lot of interesting mathups. Plus, Rock is the most fun character to play and everyone will want to use him.

ya, I said this twice already, Nightmare is better than Sieg but I wouldn't really disagree with having them both on the list.

What does Yoda have that makes him exempt from tiers? Hell, if anything, he's in his own hell of shit tierness and none of the characters in the list have any problem with him except maybe Talim.

Hell, at worst, pick Apprentice and do 2A+B and flip like a retard. 10-0 matchup right there.
 
Only good for counterpicks, and more importantly he defeats the entire purpose of a low tier tourney, which is unencumbered fun.
 
ya, being honest here, if Yoda is allowed Oof will probably be the only good person who picks him and most people will be trying to figure out the matchup while he's pummeling them for their inexperience, cause nobody uses Yoda serious except him. Technically he should be allowed tho, so it's whatever.
