Saying prep is 100% useless is bullshit, it's part of Raphael. It's what he has instead of good combo's. It SUCKS, but it's what he has to work with, and it's not USELESS, just hard to use well.

Basically, I want any other Known Solid offline player to tell me about this issue with Raphael. Depending on the consensus, I'll alter my game. Yet, I've watched quite a few Raphael video's, and I've seen PREP in all of them. Plenty of times it was back to back, or between Horizontal's.

Oh, and online, ONLINE, I get punished constantly in prep. CONSTANTLY.....and I also score plenty of damage through it. I have noticed that Prep A is hard to punish online....that sucks, seriously, I don't want that kind of advantage, but it's something we sacrifice, just like punishing your opponent characters moves as well.

Anyway, Anyone who plays or has played my Raphael recently, I'll listen, I can always take constructive criticism.

I'm sorry to tell you this-

Prep is not a good stance nor utility. Yes, this is meant to be a big part of Raph, but Raph is probably one of the worst characters in the game because of it, and both stepping and TCing under prep isn't incredibly hard. Sure you have A to stop it, but that can be stepped too.

SE A and B are pretty easy to knock someone out of as far as the few times I've played him offline has taught me.

Prep K is ridiculously easy to see coming. (I mean come on, he jumps way into the air.)

I know I'm no awesome and proven offline player, but these are kind of easy to see. Raph gets away with a lot more stuff online than he ever would off. Even if it was ONLY because it's harder to step him online. But that isn't the only reason. He's also harder to punish and gets free SG damage from moves like 11B (This move is safe, sure. But it's also really hard to step or GI online, and you sure as hell don't want to block it.)

Also, about presher, I played him. He's terrible. When he's not using bombs, he's spamming hover, and all it does is make me GI it and get in a free throw. I won very hard the first couple times I played him and left when I was bored. He tried to get me to FT10 him, but I'm not about to, ever.

Neji does abuse lag and does it plenty. I spotted a bunch of crazy pseudo-frame traps when we played, along with lows that just aren't going to hit offline AND are unsafe.

Has it really? I can't tell, if anything people are playing both...maybe this coming patch might fix tekken to where it's playable online.

A long time ago when I picked up Raph as a side arm from the rest of you guys, it was CD that taught the disgusting lesson. Raph's prep is super useless outside of combos, you just step his shit even prep A. Probably the only character it works on well is algol, since he can't side step worth a damn.

The only way to play raph really, I don't have a clue, probably like Zass, poke your opponent to death, and don't finish strings...well innovate, get smart and don't play predictably.

Otherwise use prep when you actually hit your opponent. When you're blocked you easily be stepped and punished.

Here we go about online shit again, ppls trash talk is starting to get to me a little, so im going to say this. Im going to agree with Xeph and CD in the idea that online 1As and slow vertical sweeping moves (example: Rugi's 11A, 1A, FC1A+B... Algols 11A...App's 44K...etc etc...) should be banned online and all other lows are okay to use IN MODERATION.

If you nitpick every tiny detail that is lagtactic online, then the game is just not fun to play anymore...

Nah she uses cute & deadly & nice & deadly i never knew she had an attitude she was pretty nice to me she is a strong player overall good setsuka, Hilde & Ivy kinda funny she uses voldo also. :)

Maximus is one of the better ivy's you can fight online i helped him a ton wit his ivy awhile back he fights identical to myself haven't fought him in a while wonder if he picked up the frame traps and little tricks for ivy ? He was an quick learner amazed the hell out me.

Anyway gg's to presher he's really fun to fight and don't abuse bombs. gg's to nejihyga4real also one of the best players online Asty has a glitch for hilde's doom combo works on everyone except asty strange.

Tekken 6 just release the patch finally and it has helped me out a ton no longer do i have to fight players on 1 bar when i'm using skills and precise inputs and have an noob doing one move mashing to win. Even though the patch is good it will drop to 1/2 bars 20 % of the time. So we are forced to never quit SC it's much more playable than T6 and if you getting ready for offline SC you gonna always find some great players to play online.

Well, tbh- Neji doesn't use lag tactics against me (anymore.) He used to, but now when we play there's no lag tacts involved- odd.

Anyways;
GGs Juece- the vader vs App matches were good and the Vantes mirrors were fun as well- GGs my man.

Yeah, there's a couple characters that the doom combo either doesn't work on or is harder to time. I know that along with Asta, Vader is another character that the full doom combo doesn't work on, Yoda too(obviously lol). With Amy it takes a bit of different timing for the doom combo to hit I believe.

uh was your name like WIP 2009 cause i was playing with a guy from PSN last night that that used all the characters you have listed then GG's to you to it was cool to see someone from 8way.
