LP? its pointless, against bboy, bA at max range is the best thing, I use to either punish or move him from me, 66a brings me to close to him and it will end in funny mess.

Yeah, he's one of the better setsukas in north america. The only problem with that is even at tip range most characters can punish it and even if they cant(which i think x can) they have enough free frames to step in. Want space 4A instead, not to play my own trumpet but I'm fairly confident if someone is bA-ing me at tip range I'll iGDR them by the 4th time offline...

You know you can mix in 66A B into the move right? You don't always have to 66A into nothing. Also Sets wants to get close to EVERY character in the game. X is a character who can punish people without really having to think about it, so that's why you probably felt limited.
Also bA is really unsafe and can be punished easily offline. Don't whore it out.I have been learning Setsuka lately because it is one of Astaroth's (my main) hardest match-ups.
Anyways I'm clogging the thread. I'll continue this conversation in PMs if you want.

Seriously I really get what you guys are saying, and against everyone else I hardly use it. But for some reason against bboy's X, online at least bA at max range seems to work, lol it seriously baffles me.
That's because its safe online - I play a little Sophitia and I would bet you £50.00 in cash I could TAS B TASB:4 punish you at least 7 out of ten times for using it at tip offline against me. It doesn't even catch step offline - waaaaaay too slow. All it really has is a tech crouch to be honest. =/

You can say the same thing about 90% mid step killers in this game since only a handful of them are actually fast enough to hit you when you try to Step G after BB on hit.
