grapple range

In SC3, I used to think Amy had the worst range out of all characters until I started doing 1b to 2b working my way in. I'm not sure if she still has these in 4.

A: Asty, Rock, Nighty, Yoda

B: Sieg, Vadar

C: Setsuka, Mitsu (Maybe), Hilde, Tira, Yoshi, Maxi, Cassie

D: Shura, Cervie, Sophie, Taki, Kilik, Voldo, X, Raph, Ivy*, Yun, Talim, Scheherewhateverthefuck

Fail: Starkiller, Lizzy, Amy, all the remaining bonus characters, Algol, Mi-na

*Not counting CS and SS, of course.

So the truth finally comes out, huh Dullyanna? You leave out one character, after going so far as to even include Shura, and that character JUST HAPPENS to be BLACK.

You FLAMING racist. Maybe on your next post you could flip that big white hood of yours back, and put out that flaming cross long enough to include a CERTAIN SOMEONE in your listing, huh?

You know I forgot Maxi and Yoshi earlier, too. Does that make me prejudiced against cyborg ninjas and nunchuck pirates?

I'm pretty sure Raph should be higher than D tier; I'm fairly certain his grab range is higher than, say, Cassie's, who is listed at C tier.

From my personal experience Setsuka has a very good grapple range. My opponents are always shocked when I get a successful max range throw against them.
She's really better than Mitsu/Tira/Hilde for sure. Not sure about Cassy.
I wonder about Yoshimitsu since I don't play him (only against him and he struggles to get up close against Setsuka).

But you need to consider regular throws range and special throws range.
Still taking Setsuka as an exemple her 214B+G doesn't have a good throw range.
Or Ivy, she has less range when you do a regular throw.

Besides, you have to take in account that when you make a certain move you'll get various throw range...
As an exemple with Setsuka CH 33B 6B (garanteed combo lol) into throw / special throw will hit an faaar range, even for the 214B+G throw, which has less range (it seems the CH 33B 6B "adds" range to the special throw).
