Guest Character DLC

Which Guest Characters would you want for DLC?

My picks? Raiden from MSG, Lightning, Bayonetta (because they got rushed and didn't have enough time to create the mechanics neede to properly include her), and Fiora Carvazza from Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.

Why? Raiden looks awesome, Final Fantasy XIII was the first game in the main series that I played, and it's my favorite, we already know why with Bayonetta, and Fiora's bladed fan would be quite awesome in SoulCalibur.

Y'know, I wouldn't mind if they had a DLC pack that included all four of them. T'would be rather awesome, in my opinion.

Instead of a guest, there should have been a second costume for ezio. Namely, either his first or 3rd costume from the main games or the brutis armor that he got at the end of brotherhood.

Personally, I would say none. I think Project soul should at least make one more game where they didn't include a guest character but since they most likely will always use one, off of that list, I would choose either... Kratos or Dante.

Kratos because he ACTUALLY looks like he'd fit in the universe just fine. I didn't own Broken Destiny so I never got to play as him but he looked like her fit in just fine. And I did play GOW3 and I thought the game's action was pretty cool and his weapons are neat. Brutal and punishing haha. So yeah, that's why I'd choose Kratos.

Aesthetics wise, I would want Project Soul to pick someone who fits the games atmosphere. That's why I think Ezio was such a good choice this time around.

For other guests, I would go for...

Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden) - He's one of my favorite ninja characters. Yeah, he's not the most exciting but he's not bad but I may be bias because I think he looks so hunky but seriously, he has some impressive moves with his weapons. And he could slightly fit in the Soul series I think. Since he battles demons and deals with magic/sorcery, maybe they could have him fight a demon who can manipulate time and uses on Ryu that sends him back in time to the 17th century in the universe of Soul Calibur. Hey, it's something right? But I read somewhere that Tecmo hates Namco so they'd never give them Hayabusa as a guest character. Still, I think he wouldn't be an awful choice in my opinion. Much better then the Star Wars characters.

Minamoto Yoshitsune (Genji) - Probably one of the most interesting fantasy Samurai's I've ever seen. But anyway, he's an alright character and has some cool moves. Nothing to write home about but I think he'd make a nice guest.

Nariko (Heavenly Sword) - Only played the Demo of this game but I enjoyed it and she was a very interesting character. She would be a good female guest character in my opinion.

Dante (Dante's Inferno) - Never played the game but watched a little gameplay and aesthetics wise, he could fit in just fine I think. His moves are pretty nice too.

Kannuki (Bushido Blade) - How about a blast from the past guest character? I remember Bushido Blade wasn't that bad of a game and innovative at it's time. He has a simple yet nice design that isn't too over the top and I think he'd fit in just nicely.

Alucard, Simon Belmont, or Trevor (Castlevania) - Why not? They're pretty cool characters. Sorry Raphael but you've got nothing on Alucard lol. But seriously, I think a character from the Castlevania series would make a good guest.

Donovan or Bishamon (Darkstalkers) - A little biased because Donovan is my favorite character of the Darkstalkers' series but they both use weapons, Donovan is a demon hunter and demons exist in Soul Calibur. Bishamon is a demonic Shogun warrior and I feel he'd fit right in. lol

Anyone from Dynasty Warriors or Samurai Warriors - Dynasty Warriors has a wide array of interesting characters with awesome styles. Same with Samurai Warriors.

Tusk, Jago, Chief Thunder, or Spinal (Killer Instinct) - Another blast from the past type characters. I'd mostly like to see this because just imagine what they'd look like reinvented in the modern graphics.

Strider (Marvel Vs Capcom)
Samanosukei, Jubei, Soki or Tenkai (Onimusha)
Prince (Prince of Persia)
Haohmaru or Genjuro (Samurai Showdown)
Rikimaru or Ayame (Tenchu)

I don't want anymore guest characters, but I voted for Bayonetta because

A: I like the character
B: Her Critical Edge would be awesome.

Bayonetta would be cool, considering she would not only fit the time period, but would fit with the mission of finding Soul Edge/Calibur, for her probably just for shits and giggles.
The only thing they'd need to change about her character would be her uber opness, make her firing her guns or using her hair an unblockable or part of her Critical Edge.
Make her hit on Xiba or something.

Fixified :D

Other: Nobody. We don't need another guest character and I cringe every time I see a suggestion that aesthetically clashes with just about everything SC(I get the logic behind guest characters but ugh, please no).

Surely there's SOMEONE that fits the aesthetic, though? I think Ezio was a decent stab at fitting the theme! thank you, I'll be here all week. Try the veal.

Ooooh you! Lol, I'm not disagreeing with Ezio's inclusion; I actually really approve of it. I'm just saying that some of these suggestions like Bayonetta, Lightning, etc. are just so smh-worthy. If there just had to be a DLC guest character then I'd throw my super wishful-thinking vote in for Wander :)

Soul Calibur does not need any guest characters. This is not a crossover series and after SC4, how can anyone really trust PS/Namco with choosing sensible guest characters? We got lucky with Ezio. I'd rather have ANY actual character from the series in the game than more guests.

At least Bayonetta was alive in 15th century Europe. I'll admit that most of the guest characters they've thrown in Soul Calibur make no sense what so ever, but a couple of the candidates for 5 and Ezio fit.
