Ideas for new characters?

Bangoo was in his pre-teens during Soul Edge, 11-13 at most, based on how he looks on SC. SC is three years after SE.

I know is not a new character idea but I really did like to see a quickly Whip-Sword, because Ivy us anything but fast aesthetically.
 
Bangoo would've been a great addition to the roster. He would've been the mature fighter (being in his early 30s given the timeframe of Soul Calibur V and the ages that jtdam09 mentioned).

They should but I think the next installment (that is IF they make another installment), should expand but they're probably going to use more fantasy characters. It would benefit the series to have some diversity. They were going somewhere with Zasalamel but dropped the ball. I was hoping to see An Aztec Jaguar Warrior in there but to no avail. I hope, no I pray there are characters from Africa, Pacific Islands, MesoAmerica/South America, North America, and the Middle East, with new fighting styles in there, something to make the series at least representative to their cultures. I think Japan wanted to play it safe with just Europe and Asia but there was more to the world than those warriors.

*2 weeks later* That's my point: having someone "out of place" isn't really shocking since SC is mostly about impossible stuff, and about time travel, we had Heihachi and Ezio ^^

But to be honest, if there weren't any new character in SCVI but we got rid of 2 of the mimics (or actually all 3 of them), got most of the cast back, had better modes, and maybe have some CaS-only styles (not Dumbvil Jin) I wouldn't care: SCV failed on many many points that need fixing and new characters isn't the most important thing we need...
But 2 obvious fightersI want are a swordman (one-handed sword) and an exotic fighter (no more Asian and Blonde people please)... I hope we'll get something soon (and not on the WiiU)

As much as I love a sword and a scabbard replacing the sword in the umbrella, I wasn't too crazy about Patroklos taking Setsuka's moveset. I was thinking, design-wise:
  • A bored nobleman/merchant traveling the land, finally finding entertainment with training with Setsuka.
    • A black or white fancy get up consisting of a beret, suit, scarf, and boots (I'll think more in-depth of the design when I have the time.)
  • Having a northern European descent, like Russian, or Swedish, etc.
    • Since Setsuka is considered Caucasian, the character might develop a close relationship with her.
  • Using a cane sword: a sword concealed in a fancy cane or walking stick. Could have a tarot-based theme.
    • aPat's joke weapon was okay, but the skull kind of makes me turn away from it. If the grasping end of the cane had a spherical gem, or a complex crystal, that would be very nice.
    • IF the default weapon was a cane sword with the above mentioned perks, that would be fantastic.
This is all I've thought of for now. I made a special CaS that has almost all of the desired designs I want. I may post it if I have the time.

Ok so i am going to give the version i recently disposed of (early) and the new version.

There is no theme.
Early:

Weapon: shuriken that can be taken apart and put back together. (Naruto reference. think of yuffies shuriken)

her ability was like water pressure manipulation. (No 3 espada from bleach) she can make clones and turn into a body of water

Her personality was savage.

They represent gemini. they are both female. twins

The water attribute is hardly noticeable. i used the physical structure and its characteristics to symbolize the personality of both characters.

Their weapons would include musical instruments. like one sister can curse you or seal you while the other can enchant and be a nuisance with singing or other forms of noise. (I guess that would be the central idea along with water)
(I will go more in depth on this when i have access to a computer)

In terms of SC i was thinking of them using a tag system but i think that would cause may issues. Plus they might represent a similarity with tira because of the tag system.

Anyway, since they are twins, i was thinking of them being able to read eachother's mind and to be ale to share eachother's vision (like pain from naruto). The reason for this would the rumor or myth that twins can share thoughts and read eachother's minds.

This is underdeveloped and still in progress. Many of these ideas or based on my life experiences and habits. NOISE

Gon! Because he was cute.

But really, I'd love to see Persian/Arab characters. But the weapon types for that area are mostly covered already, right?
