IMPORTANT: SCV Bug/Glitches Collection


I had this happen to me with Ezio's unblockable.

I'm guessing your Pyrrha was attacking at the time she was getting shot at. The two attacks clashed and therefore the shot was negated.

Just tested it and I slapped his CE away with my sword :)

I also found this practice mode "glitch" with the damage adding system. it's a pretty minor glitch, but looks funny / strange none the less.
This is what happens when two separate damage events occur at the same time. You also see it sometimes when you use Natsu A:6, or when you hit someone after performing a GI against an airborne opponent. It will also happen with a lot of Viola's combos, when the orb connects at exactly the same time as your follow-up attack.

Basically the total damage will display correctly, but the individual damage won't always tally, so it'll look like the combo did less damage.

What's happening there, in the Alpha combo, is that the 10 damage ground splat is occuring at exactly the same time as the 2A BE hit, and the display only shows the 10 damage on screen, missing the 37 damage from 2A BE.

Another possible bug? :

I was repelling Algol's A+B attacks in training with Leixia 44B+K. I found I could do it pretty easily with just one orb on screen, but with multiple orbs it would rarely, if ever, work, unless I repelled other orbs with normal GI first, so that there was only one red orb (repelled orbs become blue).

I can't record this stuff myself, I wonder if some skilled practitioner such as CheeseOfTheDay would consider having a go? It seemed like the GI-able hitbox of the orbs was shifted when there are multiple orbs on screen, but it could equally just be my bad timing.

Yes it looks like your right, something is wrong with his balls lol.

I checked it in few ways.

First by trying to aGI his 4A+B where 2 orbs comes out at the same time. In close range we can GI both with single GI but with 44B+K i couldn't make it happened because there are 2 red orbs on the screen.

Next by recording his A+B to A+B AFAP. In this situation when Lx will block first orb, then buffer standing A so it will hit air and make 44B+K, all AFAP, the second orb will in most cases connect when 44B+K will have that aGI window with GI his second orb.
So, if this in most cases works, then it should works also vs 3 or 4 Algols A+B series . But it doesn't work, until end of A+B series where there is only 1 red orb left on the screen.

But with some trick we can aGI 2 red orbs and make 2 blue orbs on the screen at the same time. If we record second A+B just after first orb hits Lx. So we can aGI first orb, run forward and aGI second orb before first blue orb hits Algol.

Ok thanks a lot for this. I guess Namco / PS may just say that it is unimportant though (not for Leixia it isn't!) But it would be more pressing if other aGIs were affected too. I'll have a poke around for some.

So I fell in love with Hilde. I attempted to main her until I finally got pissed off with all the ridiculous bugs surrounding the character. She needs to be patched asap.

1. For some reason in this game Hilde's throws can be stepped which is a huge random problem. I have over 5000 matches due to exploring multiple characters during character crisis before I finally settled on a main. I have never seen this happen in this game until I started using Hilde either as a spectator or player. This happened with zas and someone else in sc4 but its inexcusable in this game.

2. If you gi into ce with Hilde and the opponent re-gi's in reaction to the ce, it will miss causing you to blow and entire 1.5 bars.

3. Her super whiffs up close but I already know this one is known, as well as her super scaling from 95 to 68 if the last hit is by wall.

4. 3ba/3bbe has some wonky whiff properties both on the first hit during whiff punishment and the second hit just flat out missing randomly.

5. This last one isn't a glitch per say but what the hell is the point of c3a in the neutral game doing 42 damage for an easy to jg it auto gi situation on the second hit. Color me mindfucked when c2a leads to 58 and is safe.

Numbers 1, 2 and 4 are really major bugs as it means she cant function with some serious random shyt being in the way of you winning.

I think the design is different from SCIV where higher charges meant better moves. In this game it forces you to plan the charge A in the sweetspot time instead of just holding it for a while and getting the best one.

Honestly C3A could stand to be safer on JG, launch punishable is a bit much.
 
Actually that's a very, very good point. It does in fact seem that way as I find c1a, c2a, c1b, c2b more useful than the c3's. That would also be a pretty good buff for c3a as well because atm its absolutely useless outside of combo fodder. c3b still has uses because of solid damage and great range for whiff punish.

I came in here to cry about hilde but you pretty much said everything i was going to say. I thought every characters grab could be step'ed cause i only use hilde :) I dont have all these same problems. Like #4 and #5 im fine with. C3b is a far whiff punish tool only. If you do c3b from farthest distance its pretty hard to counter even with JG. And the characters that can counter cant do anything to huge.

My real problem is this, after 22_88 B sometimes c2b wont be able to combo for no reason. Im pretty sure it's a angle thing. Pretty annoying when i hit a 22_88 b and then the c2b whiffs for no reason, leaving me open......

I can handle whiff'ed ce or glitchy Be's but this 22_88 b glitch sucks. Hildes ce really just isnt good up close. It almost never whiffs if you do it far away.

Also i think if they nerfed the damage of c2b some that people would have no reason to cry about c2b loop. I like c2b loop because IMO its fun to do. I don't think they should take it out totally. The smart move is to nerf the damage. But tbh she doesn't need any nerfing at all. Its annoying when project soul changes her in every patch. I like this version please keep it.
