YAAAY I WON BY VOTES, now I can die peacefully :')
This round is tough. My vote goes to FreeMeal's toy ninja. Original, charming and based on the mummified item.

Runner-ups are: chobek (loved the scarecrow face and the mummy thing head is very captivating), HolyCarp (best use of the item on the voodoo doll and the puppet, but I don't like how you gave the item a shiny texture).

this kind of reminds me of invisible man or the fly ... or something...

While I barely remember it and didn't really make the connection I think Invisible Man was an inspiration, especially the bandages and that I wanted a bowler hat or a fedora at first. The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) which I've seen part of recently was also somewhat of an inspiration.

(though I'm not sure about that strand of hair, I didn't realise what it was meant to be until you said).

rdmunhoz - Ramses is great, but not that great in comparison to Mistakoo's mummy. However, a straightforward approach is never a bad idea. Trial and error is your friend. Hope to see more from you.

DJdoubleB - Without a doubt, your CAS look great. However your first CAS Vision? I thought was seeing glossy leggings. Perhaps a pic showing your ingredient would ensure you victory. However, the other two are very nice. My favorite was Relic. Keep on sharing.

Mistakoo - Like always, your CAS is captivating. Subject 42 looks very quirky yet unique in its own right. While your Mummy is straightforward but beautiful. However, I picked a different winner....

I had a look through my existing characters, and it turns out that I use the mummified equipment A LOT. For example, my entry in the kittymeow contest (Tiddles Omega) used it.

Here are my three entries for the moment. If I come up with something else, I'll probably delete the second one, Oodovo, and replace him.

Why?

All because of Decay. Despite it not looking like a decaying mummy, it looks badass. This is a special case where I take HolyCarp's Decay over Mummy in a suit and beautifully dressed mummy by Mistakoo. The other two entries were a bit simple but today I picked Decay because it looks sinister.

I mean, who wouldn't want to mess with his mummy-I mean this mummy-I mean oh you get the point.

Now I've decided to reveal something special for you guys.
A new rule: every 8 challenges the 9th one becomes someone picks the secret ingredient.

For the next challenge I'm going to have someone pick an item to have everyone build around.

In other words, this 9th challenge will be "someone will pick." Unfortunately, you can't pick items that were used in the previous contests.

Course I'm picking the person who will pick an item. It will be on a random whim. So if I PM you, you're picking it. Bare in mind, I won't pick the same person again in a contest because it wouldn't be fair. This is to ensure everyone gets a chance.

...Well I've missed a crapload since I was here last. Congrats to MistaKoo for winning the Cloth Wrap challenge and to FreeMeal and Chobek for the Mummy vote and HolyCarp for the Pocky's choice *deep breath*. There was a good selection of mummies ranging from fluorescent space mummies to half-faced Egyptian mummies to half ripped-off-face-business men to toy ninjas. Great to see!

I meant to reply earlier but couldn't. All of Loyds special equipment is on his head (2 apples for eyes and the stylin' hat), His shorts have a sticker which ends just before the knee, that might be what you're seeing. :)

As for Ballard, steal away. He's a hybrid of 2-3 characters I've made that I can't make work a the moment. He doesn't have special equipment on his shoulders, that was done by use of the gradient pattern and angling it so as to have a different colour for the circular bits. The same was done for his leg armour.

But yeah, feel free to steal!
