Odin Sphere
SMT: Devil Summoner
Rule of Rose
Persona 4 T-Shirt Size XL

Taki figure 2 (painted plastic): http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h57/Koshinn/Forums/Namco-taki.jpg
And even more prizes as the week goes on.

Why a tournament with this little notice?
To practice for Simi Valley and to raise money for the beloved mod of the so cal thread on CF, JadePhoenix.

Rules:
We will be following the nationals rules for SC4.
Wash yourself and wear deodorant before showing.
Bring your own controllers and sticks, and label them as yours.
If possible, bring a console and/or TV.

The tournament will start at 2pm unless there are mass objections to this. I'll start sign-ups at 1pm.

I'm also putting up a Persona 4 T-Shirt Size XL (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/B001H14C8C/ref=dp_otherviews_3?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&img=3) and the following Atlus trade demos as prizes:

- SMT: Persona 3 FES
- Odin Sphere
- SMT: Devil Summoner
- Rule of Rose

All of the proceeds for this tournament are to help out Jade. There will be no venue fees or anything like that. I will also see if I can wrangle up a few more promo items from Atlus this week to make the pot a tiny bit more appealing.

Lastly, it'd be great if at least one more PS3 (with RCA cables) could show up for the tournament. I already have two TV's with a third coming, but I need a PS3 for the second TV. And one of the TV's will be CRT for you lag nit-pickers. Let's get ready for the regional, people!

Well, what I can do is stop by after class and hope the tournament hasn't started yet. I might be able to leave school early, but it's the first day, so I'm not sure. I'll at least drop by, but pushing it back more means a better chance for me to make it.

You have classes on saturday?

I'm all for charity, but I suppose I have a difficult time feeling charitable without knowing the situation...

If I show I'll attempt to win all the games from Atlus that I already own/received from working there >:) Just to be selfish.

Thing is that I expect to be busy for the afternoon, so I might show up late (like after 5pm) so don't expect me for the tourney or anything like that. I'll try to hang out for casuals or whatevs.

Matt, don't worry. I'll postpone the tourney until 4pm then. And just so people understand the prize pay-out, we talked it over and it's gonna go like this:

1st place gets first pick of either two non-game prizes or one video game prize.
2nd place can pick from the remaining prizes with the same payout.
3rd place then gets to pick and so on until every prize is distributed.

I'm also gonna have some pizza and drinks available if that matters to anyone.

[skepticism]I'm with Utsuse here... Would you please care to explain to the rest of us Jade Phoenix fans why exactly she needs the money?[/skepticism]

I'll bring my TV and PS3.

Thanks for the holdback. I'm coming from UCI, so I'm guessing it takes less than 30 minutes to get there. And yes, I do have class on Saturday. I'm a part-time student.

It's a 10 min drive, but if you're busing it'll probably take 30 min.

Cook - I feel like you don't trust me and Rob and Jade Phoenix, the three of us are organizing this together. The retail value of the prizes will probably far outstrip the amount of money that is taken in by entrance fees. Luckily the prizes are all donated out of the good will of people who have stuff they don't need/want anymore.

It's not a secret, but it is of a personal nature.
