Just Ukemi List

[10] Knight
I only know a few but I want to learn all of them.
If you don't know what Just Ukemi is, its a character that sends you to the floor and you can JF Flash out of it so that you are not vulnerable.

Siegfried:
3b (CH), B

Yoshimitsu:
214a, doorknocker

Mitsurugi:
2k, b

I find Just Ukemi to be really helpful and knowing all of them gives us an even better chance of winning.
Can we populate a list for the other characters?

Yeah I saw that but anything coming from CF.com is a lie. LOL j/k
Regardless, I don't visit that site so I didn't know about it.

Let's just forget that list exist and we just go and continue with this one.
I'll copy over the information but if we can continue with the Ukemi List.

How do you test Just Ukemis?

There's no way to reliably see what the options are afterwards unless you manage to nail it in practice yourself...

unlike Just Impacts (where you can rig the command playback dummy to JI every time).

I wouldn't trust the information in that CF list... the Talim section is COMPLETELY wrong...

It says Wind Sault A+B and Wind Sault B+K are Jukable... which is wrong. Neither of those moves have Jukes. However, Wind Sault B is Jukable. If you Juke the Wind Sault B, you will completely avoid the just frame Wind Sault B:K.

Edgemaster CPU seems to know all the Jukes, should ask him next time you see him. ;) or just set the training dummy to ukemi and i think they do the Juke if they can.

any moves that slams you down with a downward strike when you're in the air can be Just ukemi...... -_-

i did a just ukemi with maxi last night and I have no idea how i did it. I thought you guys were bullshiting but I flashed when I hit the ground and was at positive frames!!!

I cant figure out how i did it....someone help me. How do I set up training mode to research this??

you hit 2_8G on the exact frame when you get slammed on the ground.

Best way to practice is to set the AI to repeat mitsus 2KB... right as the B slams you, you can JU and avoid the extra hits that mitsu users consider guaranteed :)

I was able to JU out of the way of amy's combo 66A+B~BT B+K~66A+B, the BT B+K slams you when it connects, so you can JU the follow up.

I've only done it once, it's pretty tough.

Easy, record Mitsu doing 2KB, and let him perform it on you. Then practice tapping 8G, 2G, or just G, just as the sword finished hitting you, after the 2K hits.

beautiful stuff. just ukemi's are the shit!!! doing it offline is suprisingly easier than I thought it would be. online not so much. did a TON of practice with it as my buddy almost spams mitsu's 2KB. He had the "WFT?" face on all night last night. I cant believe after 3000 plus matches on this damn game I never noticed the just ukemi.

Learning is sweet!!

This thread is awsome, i will add to it asap. I have to read it all. Keep up the good work every one.

edit- MItsurugi down kb is best JU'ed right before the B hits you. I didnt know you could JU after the B hits you. I found this to be a really easy JU.

I really think Lau summed up this whole thread in one sentence.

Any hit that hits you as a Airhit and slammes you downwards can be JF Ukemi'ed. So you can tell whether a Combo is JF Ukemiable or not just by looking at the Animation.

For example Cervantes has this ch 3B~4A+K~2B+K Combo, 4A+K is a downward Kick that kind of stuns the enemy, just by looking at the Animation you can say whether you can Ukemi or not. You can.

I hope i dont post anything wrong, i didnt find any exception when i analyzed Cervantes Game. Every Move i expected to be JF Ukemiable indeed was JF Ukemiable. 2B+K, 11B, 4A+K etc etc...

Can anybody check this for some Moves and "prove" this Theory?

I think stuff like Kiliks 66B all fall into this category.

regards, doc.
