Left 4 Dead

Uh its good because you have to keep the aim on the tank for less of the time. Also it is a way to one shot witches with AR. I'll try that panda, it probably works for xbox.

if it wasn't for Blazblue coming out, L4D thread on page 2 would be UNACCEPTABLE.

but since BB did come out, Im letting it slide.

PC L4D guys, who are still playing PC L4D: If Im not doing anything wednesday, I may jump on steam for TF2 and/or L4D.
Actually, some L4D on either platform would make me hella happy.

Swamp Fever mission details and video

Spitter special infected shoots the floor and makes an area do damage over time (the real closet camping killer)

Uncommon Infected in this level is the Mudman, who stays low to the ground and is very fast. Probably similar to the fast zombies in HL2. Keep in mind some of the level takes place in waist deep water. Uncommon infected are a slightly different part of the horde, but unique to the campaign they appear in.

New Items. Ammo pack goes in the health pack slot. Adrenaline goes in the Pills slot. Adrenaline gives you a burst of speed and the infected hitting you don't slow you down. Also gets rid of melee fatigue which will be in the campaign this time around.

The only people who complain about closet camping are the ones who join a server, expect to play the undead and leave when the round is over. The GAME as it's supposed to be played involves taking turns, which if you were playing it the right way would spawn no griping about undead/survivor imbalance because technically everyone gets a turn on either side. But since we have people who only want to play the game as a never-ending grief engine I guess valve feels they need to accommodate them. But screw them. They're not playing the game the way it's supposed to be played and half the fun is gone when there's no payback.

Actually for Valve it was a problem in both multiplayer and co-op. Not only was closet camping not what they intended, but people would often get kicked for NOT closet camping.

oh my god johnny rambo will be so happy to hear of this news.

NICE news, Im hyped all over again! *throws Blazblue back into case, tosses said case randomly in room, puts Left 4 Dead in Xbox, while running it on the PC as well* HYPE!

Speaking of which, The Landslide proposed we play L4D tonight(since Im off work and not enjoying BB as much as everyone else.) Im in the mood for anything L4D. Vs., campaign, or SURVIVAL(still havn't really played it with...anyone)

John: Vs mode...is really meant to be enjoyed with a group of people you know. Even moreso, if you can assemble 8 people, which for some reason is ridiculously difficult. In the past, we usually get about 5 or 6...and when we did get 8, that one time. people dropped, even when we randomed the teams and everyone is pretty chill with one another. I just don't get it, its quite interesting to see the teams when different people have their own ways of playing it and it doesn't mix or they barely make it alive. Also just as humorous to see the infected team get shit on due to a bad decision or spawn choice(and hey it happens, I mean. did you think they'd check behind the tree? mr.smoker?) people like to go apeshit about tank spawns, they are only random for one of the teams.

Friend at work informs me that people are "powershotting" in VS. now to destroy Tanks, witches, and what have you in one shot.

Powershot is awesome, but it definatley doesn't kill tank in one shot.
I'm up for L4D whenver just shoot me and invite if I'm online and I will join if I'm not busy. New stuff for L$D2 sounds amazing.

Closet campers be gone! THE SPITTER IS HERE!

She spits a ton of shit on the ground and it's boiling or burning ... uhh... stuff and it does a SHIT-TON of damage in a very short span of time.

Like... way more than standing in a molotov... there's a video on gametrailers, but I'm mad lazy and won't change tabs to link it.

L4D2 is shaping up to be my most anticipated game this year.

So much goodness has already been revealed.

I'd like to see Charger and Spitter patched into L4D1...just to see how it would affect the atmosphere. Maybe I'll get my wish with release of L4D2. (rumored they want to put L4D1's content on the L4D2 disc, to keep peeps from switching back and forth between discs)

I'm curious to see if they'll be more "transition" campaigns before the release of L4D2. Perhaps one final L4D campaign to introduce the L4D2 plot/location?

And I think'd it be awesome to have Louis, Bill, Frances, and Electric Barbarella as a cameo in L4D2. Perhaps as infected?

I should probably warn the 360 users that it's mainly a versus campaign, and it's only 2 maps. So even though it's playable in all modes, I don't know if I'd call it worth 7 bucks. But luckily I'm not a 360 user, so booya!

well, survival mode was a hill with a lighthouse at the same price of this new campaign. Sounds fair to me.

**EDIT** I just randomly remembered this last night, but the survival mode was free. So scratch that logic...

I'd glady throw a fucking 20 at them and smile like a greedy little bastard.

I also have it on PC, but rarely ever play.(on steam all the time though)
