So wait, it's free and they refunded people's money? Or it's less than 800, and they get a partial refund? If it's FREE free, I'll see you guys on there.

PC = Free (with a new main menu background featuring the helicopter and zombies)
360 = 560 Marketplace Points

Both give 10 new achievements (mainly set around Versus mode)

Kowtow IT IS NOT FREE, they refunded the difference between the mistake cost and the real cost.

Also, this, while a short campaign, is a rough, ROUGH map to play through. Lots of areas to watch and the finale can be easy or hard depending on where the Director causes zombies to spawn.

This will definitely tide me over until L4D2. (Which I'm more than happy to pay full price for as Valve has more than earned my money through their various wildly fun franchises)
 
so anyways... can't wait for L4D2.

i wonder if they'll add another new infected in there.
or perhaps make a new infected for L4D as DLC ^_^

That is a possibility. According to the people that created the Boycott group, Valve told them there will be another L4D DLC that is either another campaign, new weapons, or a new infected. They wouldn't say which since they were asked to keep it a secret. New infected would probably make the most sense since there are a lot of issues in L4D that are corrected by something like the Spitter being added.

^Glitches and Clipping from yesterday fixed. And I thinking crouch running is gone too.

when I got home, I Played a Versus game with Randoms...victory was SOOOOO close..but it gave our weakest links the finale Tank spawns! That got owned by a machine gun >_<; The only rewarding factor is that EVERYONE STAYED! Which shocked the everloving fuck out me. No ragequits...clearly CC is doing something that the other campaigns are not. lol.

Shorter campaigns in VS = Win.

are you guys talking about the glitch where you press crouch and stay crouched?
I tried it and still works.
I personally use it for the boomer to launch boomers off of rooftops... hence (Ninja Boomer)
and also for hunters to have them stay quiet before pouncing.

i dunno if its the same glitch on PC as Xbox because its lulz.
 
For those who play on PC, L4D2 is available for pre-order on Steam. Save 5 bucks on a 10% discount like everywhere else. OR there is a 4 pack of buy 3 and get 1 free, which also has the 10% discount. That means 4 copies of the game for 135 dollars, which breaks down to 34 bucks each. So if you have friends that you trust to pay you it's a pretty awesome deal.
