You think that if Leixia had like 5dmg more on same of her combos (mostly her launchers), she'd be top tier?
Imo, she wouldn't because her damage output would still be the lowest in the game, she hardly has any zoning-control at mid/long range, she has weak throws, no good mix-up lows (except for 2K and WS A+B), bad whiffpunishment,... And all of the other three characters are/were good at these things, too.

Really impressive work you've put out there.. like I said in the other thread I really don't want to enter any "Discussions". But I do want to ask you this.
When did I EVER say.. that I think that way?
My "NO" in the vote thread referred to GENERAL damage increase.. Because that is EXACTLY the treatment that Viola got from pre-patch -> post-patch.. and EXACTLY the treatment Amy got from SC3:AE>SC4. The question was phrased in a very vague manner, I replied according to how the question is phrased to me, as the voter.
5 DMG more off her launchers? Sure... her launchers are pathetic.. I often call them chicken scratches, ask Yuan... Give her 5... make them clean hit for 10. Fine by me... What I do not want is your typical "General Damage" increase that Namco is known for.. "Oh she's got too low damage? Let's change this 10 damage here to 30 damage"... "Oh her damage was "really low" in sc3:AE? Ok.. well in SC4 everyone's damage was nerfed so let's just keep hers the way it already is..." She is designed to be a pokey annoying character, anything above a really miniscule bump like 5 damage will affect her character design greatly.. Thus the HELL NO to the general damage buff. Heck I'll give a HELL NO to any character suggested for a "General Buff". Maybe even Raph.
And I happen to like Leixia's design as it is.. so yeah. I voted NO for that, I really don't see the problem there.
And if anyone else would like to call me out for my post.. Go ahead... I won't be replying.

1. How does CH 66BB -> CE compare on the damage for 1 meter though?
I'll be honest here, my opinion is not based on how I know Leixia, it's based on how I fight Leixia... And whenever I get broken she HAS CE.. which is why I hate getting guard broken so much.. and from what I can recall (and what I gather from reading your post).. She doesn't have much other place to use her meter now does she? It's not hard to visualize her having meter when she's guard broken right? (And like I said, this is ALWAYS the case whenever I see LX break guard)
2. Damage off Horizontals.. I was specifically referring to the 44A series and the AA BE in addition to her guard meter. How would you behave when your meter is flashing red Kalas? Would you try to move more often? Just guard maybe? Or would you stand there and block? This is a my favorite part of Leixia's.. 44A series and AA BE series is just too damn scary when your gauge is red.. When I move around, I risk eating the 44A (or any other horizontal) If I think you're going to throw out a horizontal and block, I risk guard break yet again. Are there other characters that can put you in this situation? Yes... but can they do it revolving around a pretty safe horizontals (Highest damage one being a mid)? I wouldn't say so. This is where I find Leixia the most annoying because I feel it to be damn near impossible to manipulate how she breaks your gauge (Be it saving it or breaking it.) Buffing damage off these moves/series IMO will make her too strong in this one department.
