Maxi Video Discussion

i spy a couple of 8A+B at 1:02.
BLA at 2:12 followed by a beautiful 44B and an interesting variation on LOBK *note i have always said this move deserves a just frame cancel to a horizontal (LOBk:A)
 
All right time to show off a little. Been playing around with WS B+Kg stuff. And its paying off quite nicely.

I cant help but to think youre right. Train the enemy to block the WS B+K. Get him used to seeing it. then start mixing him up with the cancel. I dont think the cancel serves any real purpose other than gimmicky, mix up situations. This guy obviously had a serious lack of maxi knowledge which was why I was getting away with things.

But WS B+Kg is only gonna get you so far. Ima just stick to WS B+K!
 
The only problem is if the guy decided to roll rather than just standing straight up he could have easily punished you. WS B+Kg brings you into RO and RO doesn't have anything useful for dealing with grounded. It would have been nice if it actually brought you into BL so you could at least scoop up rollers with the K BE
 
I knew about 3 seconds into that match (When he tries to attack me while Im 6b4) that he didnt know jack about maxi. So I took advantage. Im usually not all that flashy....LOL
 
Well RO B doesn't do much damage against grounded, it's linear, and if they decide to just guard then you're getting punished big time. LO would have been better with that low kick and the nice LO B. And yeah, that guy ate every single 2A+B. I love people who freeze up against Maxi, it's just never a good idea.

It's a shame since Pat can be so mean to Maxi. Ever want to do that LI K? Too bad. AA.

Excuse my Maxinoobness but what is 6b4? Is it 6B into another stance or something?

After you launched him and 66A+B'd him, how did you get him to do the other low kick to high kick BE? Manual stance switch?
