Missing character discussion

Every game since sc2, I have used less and less characters, because they keep removing styles that I liked to use.
1) sc2 it was necrid
2) sc3 it was hwang
3) sc4 it was Cassandra

If they ever removed Sieg (or his style) in a future SC, I might just stop playing for good.

I'm also tired of the huge torpedo breasts with the body paint tights. They toned it down for Ivy, why not Taki? And the fact that they had made sketches and that one of the developers said she was going to be in makes me even madder that Namco forced them to release the game so soon.

I doubt she was going to be in as a character in the roster. Maybe a character that appears in the story mode.

And yes, I definitely agree with you on Taki needing to be toned down.

click on ibuki and you will have acess to her skin mods
also the taki skin is spelled wrong on the page
i think its spelled "toki ninja mod" or something like that

just search the entire ibuki page

once downloaded just overwrite the IBK folder on the street fighter folder

C:\Program Files (x86)\Capcom\Super Street Fighter IV\resource\battle\chara
 
I like how no one cares about Rock xD

I miss the dude with the scimitar, I made a pretty badass Prince Of Persia with his style on SCIV, voice 1 was the Prince of Persia's voice as well.

But now of course the Prince Of Persia voices Patroklos...

Taki is my favourite characters in videogame history, i loved playing with her since soul calibur for dream cast
she's on my top 10 favourite characters and it's sad to see that the character that you liked so much got replaced
just by seeing taki gameplay it brings me back all of the good memories that i had playing soul calibur

and now when i'm playing with natsu it feels different...
natsu feels annoying sometimes

I see what you mean. I personally think Natsu is a decent replacement for Taki. I know people say she's just a female Naruto but come on at least she doesn't yell "BELIEVE IT!!!". I think Natsu's personality is a nice break from Taki's serious nature at times. I think she'll develop nicely in the next few SC games (if they're even made).

Gameplay wise though Natsu does indeed require a different playstyle than Taki did. I can't go into details but it is different. It sort of reminds me of the differences between SCIV & SCV Sieg. One is about his mix ups while the other is about spacing and making reads.

Lol... I will admit that her blonde hair and quotes do seem out of place. They should have at least given her brown hair and slightly more serious quotes. I'm sure with though two changes people wouldn't hate Natsu. I think she's going to pull a Setsuka (complete hair color change) in a later SC. Thank you all for your opinions though. :D
 
I personally have been missing Setsuka a lot lately, not just the character and her appearance, but the femininity that characterised her style. Had a short run with Alpha recently and just couldn't get into him. Execution isn't a problem, outside of the change to 1B:B, which made little sense to me. I just...couldn't care for his personality, and the changes to the style to make it more 'unisex' take away from its elegance, imo. I'm not holding out hope for her to make a return, Pat is basically established as the style's wielder from here on out, so I guess my run with Setsuka is done with.

Also, I think you guys would probably have less of a negative attitude towards Natsu if her place in the SC universe had been explored in the story. I like her, personally, even though she is a straight rip from a certain anime. One thing I'd love to see is an exchange between her and Taki, just to see how her behaviour changes while she is with her mentor.
 
I just had a brilliant idea:

They add in "the grim reaper" as a new character via DLC, make him covered in black robes, give him a scythe, and make him similar to Zas's style, but with a twist!

I mean cmon, how bad ass would it be to have the Grim Reaper in this game? At least he would fit-in in a medieval setting.
