ok so the facepalming moments in 8wr history thread is JUST GONE. WTFWTFWTF. also all of worker bakery's threads just get deleted. ummmmmm IT IS A POLL THAT CANNOT BE CONFINED TO ONE THREAD.

wtf was wrong with a thread to remember funny and akward moments in our history? ARE SOMEONE'S PANTIES THAT RUFFLED?!?!

I didn't see anything wrong with the facepalming thread....so who knows who deleted. :\
As for worker bakerys threads...some of them are just a bunch of useless threads. I'm fine with his/her beauty contest threads,but those other ones made no sense at all,so they had to be closed.
 
it had CY, warble, jorn...that was all that mattered. why even try and compile it when someone's just gonna get butt-hurt and get rid of it?

So my Bleach thread got deleted for no good reason like usually the moderators do and others threads are starting to be deleted.

Something has to be done about this.

I honestly dont mind, WB's threads are spam, that's it.

As for the others... who knows, but it is getting close to 2012, the end of the internets.
 
If mods are closing/deleting threads, the polite and common thing to do amongst humans is to notify the OP that you are going to or that you have. As a mod and admin elsewhere, sometimes you will get bitched at, sometimes they will give you good reason to keep it open, and sometimes they do not care at all ....but they should be notified IMO.
 
The stupid gamefaqs-esque threads usually get closed pretty quickly for just being flat out dumb. Isn't that what Worker-Bakery's doing? I mean, how many "who's the hottest SC girl" threads have we gotten?

However, what other threads were deleted that weren't spam/worker-bakery weirdness?

Idk who deleted that but I can give you one good reason why it was.
There's an all anime talk thread where it's dedicated to ALL sorts of anime, I personally don't see the reason of making multiple threads for one specific anime when you can all discuss it in one.
I don't think it got deleted though,it might have gotten merged with the anime discussion thread,so you might want to take a look in there and see if anything's there from your old thread.

As for everyone else, I find it awfully hilarious how sometimes people work. If mods don't do their job then they bitch and whine about how we're horrible mods and should be taken off our post.
BUT when we DO do our jobs,yall bitch and moan about how we're deleting/closin threads for no good reason and how it's cutting off on your "entertainment".

If you REALLY want to make a bunch of threads about stupid none sense/spamming threads,then by all means do so,but not here.[And if you DO do it here...then be prepared for it to be deleted or closed with reason.... but then again...if it's just a spam thread..then it's common sense as to why it got closed or deleted....]
I understand this the "General Discussion forums" and the description says "The forum for everything that doesn't fit anywhere else." but that doesn't mean "HEY GUYS! COME SPAM POINTLESS TOPICS HERE!!! LAWL!!!"

Deleting threads is serious business. Unless it's porn, spam or over the top violence. Threads should be locked and a reason why should be stated as the last post.

And mods really shouldn't fight with members, just do the job, state the rule you're enforcing and be done with it. If someone is being a bitch address it in the mod forum like you do and the rest of moderation will decide there how to proceed.

MODERATORS

* As a Soul Arena moderator, your primary responsibility is NOT to discipline other members. Your primary responsibility is to organize information and to manage your soul arena so that members will find it easier to retrieve information. Disciplining members is a secondary responsibility but should not be your main focus and choice for being a Soul Arena moderator. You are not a member of some "elite group" of players who command other players at their will.

SUPER MODERATORS

* Super Moderators are the disciplinarians of the forums. Anyone causing trouble will have to answer to them. Super Moderators have access to the entirety of the forums and are able to give any user an infraction if required. It is your chief responsibility to make registered users as happy to be here as you are. I also ask, that as a super moderator, you do everything you can to make a user's stay as pleasant as possible: answer their questions and say hello to them in introduction threads.

ADMINISTRATORS

* The only people who should be banning anyone, outside of the infraction system. The buck stops here. If you feel a member needs to be banned, please contact an administrator; even as a super moderator, you should not be banning anyone.

And I personally don't see a reason why we can't have a Bleach thread or any other specific show thread when like I said before, in every other forum, there is a general anime/manga thread and specific ones as well and everything is fine. Only in this forum is a problem apparently God knows why. Also, personally, I'm only interested in talking Bleach in this case, not interested in talking about 1 million other shows. There can be good Bleach discussions or other shows indepth discussions like talking about the manga, the anime, fan art, whatever, like the other forums do.

Anyway and FYI, I have the green light to make the thread again but ATM I'm more concerned on who made those moves. If none of the mods in this area did it, or an administrator, then a hacker did it and that one should be banned.
 
Because you're still wring, it's not every other forum. It may be the few you go too that are "huge" as you've stated but not all forums do, hell most don't. THe ones that do have a General Anime Sub-Forum to post the threads you want in.

You can talk specifically bleach in the General Anime thread, and you'll get replies on Bleach and nothing else directed at you if you do. But there will be other things in between that don't concern you, just don't look at it.

Worker-Bakery threads have been getting deleted by... ME.

Animefreak-I still don't get your insistence in manipulating the discussions. You ain't no mod or administrator, stop acting like one.

Latest example as in yesterday in SRK. There is a hugeass FF thread there that we talk about everything. Since FF13 is new and all the latest convo is about that game, peeps decided to make a FF13 thread along with a FF general thread and we all talk there all fine.

No one is bitching there that this should be closed or merged or any of that nonsense. Members there just discuss FF and that's it and IMHO, the way it should be. Discussions flow freely and everything is running smooth.

Animefreak, let discussions be. If for example I make a Bleach thread again, let it be. You don't agree with it, fine, don't post there, or post, that's all fine with me.

Another example for you, I have a general movie thread here but say Ironman 2 is coming soon and someone makes a thread about Ironman 2. I ain't bitching about that if it happens, I'll just be in that thread saying War Machine OWNS!!!!

TL;DR-Stop manipulating discussions and trying to be a mod or whatever and let's just discuss.
