Natsu Questions And Answers / General Discussion

Wow didn't know that :3::Bh:~ :G: evades high attacks.
What a disgusting character.
Edited the punishment list i.e. deleted the AA punishing part.
Fuck Siegfried.

It doesn't evade high attacks, the first A whiff because of the range.
That's why it doesn't work with other stance transition like 66K(BE) o 22k(A) (or what you want) :-)

I see so it's the pushback of 3B in combination with the little Back-Step of the SCH-Cancel?

this needs to be looked into......

was doing 3B A:6 practice in training mode yesterday and following up with 1A.

you can tech out of this in a couple ways, but i noticed that sometimes they wouldnt get knocked down as far away after the A:6. the only thing i could attribute it to was the closer to the ground you hit the A:6 the closer they land to you.

this made 3B, A:6, 1A register as a 5 hit combo for 70 damage that couldnt be teched in any direction if timed right.

i would like some others to mess around with this and see what they find to either confirm or deny. if you could do this consistently 3B -16 punish would become really strong.

also wanted to remind people to not forget about Fc A+B against NM, sieg, ivy, hilde, yoshi, asta, xiba, and anyone else with a reverse RO throw or reverse RO -15 low (NM/sieg FC A+G, xiba 1A+B)

Hey, when you have natsu hovering over you after a knock down what is the best thing to do? That seems to give me the most trpuble when I play against her. Is it best to just wait and react to whatever she throws out or should I back roll to avoid her attacks?

Sidestep and anticipate. HOV B and HOV A+B doesn't track, so you're left with HOV A. HOV A tracks, so you'll be ultimately going for Sidestep then low guard (or any TJ moves )

However, some players tend to cancel HOV (PO 2) and try to trick you, so you need to anticipate more.

he didnt mention PO being the problem. in general natsu has a rough time hitting grounded and the moves that do hit grounded arent that threatening. side roll is good as is back roll. take a hit get knocked away and then get up. as long as you arent eating bombs and can block 1A on reaction you should be ok.

and yeah flesh, my bad i meant B+G

Backroll seems to work pretty well. Just watch for HOV A+B, which is pretty easy to see coming honestly. The animation between B and A is slightly different, so I believe they are reactable.

Oh yeah. I'm too dumb to misread that Jeuce 0_0

Backroll will work, while watching out for HOV A+B. Sideroll is good for evading HOV B, since it hits grounded.

So i was testing it and backroll works pretty well. I also tried rolling towards natsu and ended up behind her and able to punish her pretty hard. Though i was testing her hover off of a 22b and i don't know how reliable that actually is. Can you guys give me a standard knockdown setup that leads to hover?

gotta apologize to yoshikatyoko. juece did say hovering over a grounded opponent but i didnt take it literally, haha.

Where can I find the terminology for Natsu. I know some basic ones like PO stands for Posessions. I also could use some help with her combos. I can do none of them. ;| Please help!
