Aiight, let's get these shoutouts out of the way.
This was my first NEC of hopefully to be many more as long as people keep playing Soul Calibur. Next time, I will either have to get a room or crash in someone else's so that I can stay at the venue. I know some people have said how bad NEC was ran, but I think it went well overall. But trying to run that many games with that many people isn't going to go smooth as silk, especially with players all over the place. At least SC4 went well.
Shoutout to everyone that came through to NEC. It would have been nice if the turnout was higher, but whatever. The bracket still turned out to be a beast. I just have to put it together and get some wins in.

As for me, I'm not quitting this game no time soon. I just won't be able to make it out to Sunday tournaments. Hopefully 2010 will bring good things for Soul Calibur. And right now, I'm starting to plan for EVO. Hopefully SC4 will return to the lineup because people will travel to Vegas to compete in it. I'll be on vacation soon, so I will see you guys in 2010.

Was there a large bonus to the pot or was it all based on entry fee? If there was a sizeable amount of money and they were willing to choose other chars to promote the game, that is a pretty honorable thing to do. But I'm not sure how seriously I should take the grand finals...could the people that were there explain the reasoning behind their decision? I thought Amy vs. Amy or even Scheherazade vs. Amy woulda been the expected match-up.
