Yes, I'm one of those. Just like how I watch American movies in english even though it is not my main language.
And it isn't "Japanese dubs", it's the original voiceover.
The way I look at it, personal attachments aside, is that the characters are just roles that can be played by any actor. You wouldn't storm out of a Shakespeare play just because you're not watching the original cast would you? So I'm not too particular about English or Japanese, so long as the acting is good. I'll sometimes even watch the first episode or two of something in both languages if I can and then I judge which I like better. Sometimes, as in the case of The Big O, even the Japanese audience will acknowledge the American cast is superior which I think says a lot about the impracticality of an automatic bias. So in any event, I would encourage people who refuse to watch a series without a dub and people who refuse to give dubs a chance to both be more open minded.

You got a good point. I'm still strongly holding my side and I've got good arguments, but I'm gonna leave it at that.

I'm just super happy that the Hayate no Gotoku is back.

Edit : Both Naruto and Fairy Tail anime are also back on track this week meaning no more fillers and supposedly only "good" episodes for a while. Also their respectives manga are coming up nicely. I feel like Fairy Tail's actual plot starts now.

For Evengelian the creator and director said they liked the english dub far more than the original voice over.

Also season 2 of Hayate was awful, so i didn't even know a 3rd was coming at all.

In the war of dub vs sub, everyone wins.

Let's face it, dubs are going nowhere, and subs are always an option, so no one can actually be displeased with any show's release. If you like the dub, go ahead. If not, go into the menu, and change the audio.

Okay, gotta stop here...

So, I've never really been interested in Hayate, but with it being a JC series, it does hold a certain level of appeal. Now, being the show starring one of the Five Tsundere Wonders of Rie Kugimiya, I have to ask: is the lead female as much of a bitch as Louise?

Yeah Nagi is pretty awesome and Hayate has it rough. Also only the second season was from JC. I really, really liked it myself. The first season was funny, but more than half of it were not canon and got a bit repetitive, while the second season is loyal to the manga.

Anyway Hayate is all about parodies, so if that's your cup of tea, you should check it out.

Okay... but that hardly answered my question: is Nagi as huge of a bitch as Louise?

Honestly, Louise herself ruined the show for me.

Louise and Nagi might as well be the same. Both are terrible bitch ass niggas.

Hayate season 1 was HILARIOUS. It doesn't matter whether it followed the manga or not, hell nothing matter if it follows it's original source EVER, and season 1 was godlike. Funny as hell, hilarious cameos, good animation overall, better music, better everything.
Season 2, no matter how much of a fan of JC Staff i am nor it being more canon is, was not that good. It wasn't as funny, they lost most of their major anime licenses to make fun of, the animation seemed lesser.... that or maybe the overall style was just changed, i can't remember been a while.... And the "action" wasn't as good. In season 1 it was hilarious even in the fights and actually had substance too it.

Season 3 it seems is a totally new story written by the main author? That sounds kinda cool actually, MUST SEE TO JUDGE.

Okay, so, from what I've watched so far...

Code:Breaker - Okay, this show seems kinda cool-OMGGRANRODEOopeningSQUEE!!!
JoJo's - ... never before has the line between hero and villain felt so clearly drawn. Do remember, kiddos, this is episode 1.
Little Busters! - This show is funny as hell, and I love all of the characters so far. Definitely redeems JC for the atrocity that was Arcana Famiglia.
Chuunibyou - Well played, KyoAni. They actually are gonna trump Hyouka with this one. I'm sure of it.

Still gonna check out K, Zetsuen no Tempest, and BTOOOM!

Anime has the habit of trying to make it's villians in some way sympathetic. I suppose this isn't a bad idea, it's rare that things in the world are black and white, but that said sometimes it's just nice to be able to hate the villian completely. Nice to see there's still a market for the classic heel.

Magi, Sukitte Iinayo, and Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun are my favorites of the season. Love these three.

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, Little Busters!, are my second favorites.

Sword Art Online and Muv-luv alternative: Total Eclipse are ones I have to watch to finish.

Edit: Forgot Robotic Notes....also like this one.

One of my favorite parts of Last Exile, Gundam Seed and Gundam 00 was how irredeemably evil the main villains were.

Anyways, I'm now watching K, Zetsuen no Tempest, BTOOOM!, Medaka Box Abnormal, Psycho Pass, Sukitte Ii Na Yo, and Seitokai No Ichizon Lv.2.

In addition to the ones mentioned above.
Best. Season. EVER.
