I know for a fact you have watched alot of romance like me Namu, so I won't name the most obvious ones like Clannad and Kanon. If you haven't checked these out yet I highly recommend:

Kimi Kiss Pure Rouge
True Tears

and I don't know if you like this but....~Gift~ Eternal Rainbow is another one I liked.

let's bring it stateside for a second.. who's looking forward to Kura? My friend is workin on that show. support!

also, just so i can geek out for a second.. what do inuyasha, mezzoforte, queen's blade have in common? they're all outsourced animations in korea, and the studio (hanjin animation) that does it is literally one floor above mine. in the same building i work in.. I poked my head in there once... for a cookie, name four other projects that hanjin animation does.. NO SEARCHING THE WEBS!! knowledge only!

i got mean mugged by this small dude there.. and i mean mugged back.... it was a funny exchange.

I think its harder to name an anime that doesn't have outsourced animations from Korea, and they're all really small operations like Makoto Shinkai, and KyoAni's earlier works. It's been a while since I've actually watched the credits to anything but I'm pretty sure that hasn't changed at all.

As for Hanjin animation, all I can remember is Code Geass and the terrible H20:footprints in the sand that I only watched one episode of, partly because of the awful production values.

So should I or should I not watch the Cannad dub.
@ Namu: I am a fan of action, adventure, suspense, horror, fantasy, and sci-fi types but I am open to any type of anime.

I have read / watched:
Naruto
Bleach
Hunter X Hunter
FMA
Hikaru no Go
Death Note
Inuyasha
Rurouni Kenshin
Afro Samurai
Black Butler

And many many many more. But you get the Idea. So what do you all suggest in terms of Instant watch Netflix?

Late to reply lol, but here goes.

@Jargen. Let's see, I've watched Kimi Kiss and liked it enough to watch again with my mom(she likes romance anime and watched kimi no todoke with my sis. Proud of my mother lol). True tears I watched the whole thing, but my memory is kinda hazy(it's been forever), but it was fun nonetheless. I guess I'll try out that anime you recommended as well. But a bit later. Oddly I haven't watched Kanon yet I have it......guess I should watch it and others I forgot to watch.

@Kotomi. All those listed were fun, but sadly I watched them all. Except Tsukihime, Fate/Stay Night, and G-Senjou no Maou.

@Madnis. Godspeed.

@Cassandra. It's fairly easy for me to just hand-out likes. I personally like stuff depending on the situation. I would list the reasons, but another time.
All you need to know is, me liking a post is rather me liking something out of ya. Childish to just like everything, but I'm a simpleton whimsical.

@Senzait. Well, you like the shounen stuff. So I guess I'd recommend anything similar to an anime you like. I would say Higurashi(or whatever it's called) and school days, but I turned tailed and didn't watch the last episode of School days. Higurashi? I turned tail the minute I found out what it was about......

The sad thing is that Korean outsourcing is hurting the Japanese industry in the long-term, it's robbing Japan of its "farm system" so to speak.

This means we're probably going to see some awesome stuff coming out of Korea though, so it's not all bad.

Now that is like worthy! xD

Full Metal Alchemist (Original) is better than Brotherhood for some reason, although Brotherhood was advertised as sticking closer to the manga. Yet, something was lacking. I can't point it out but I know it's missing something...

I also liked Death Note. Has to be one of my favorites of all time. Also, the legendary Cowboy Bebop. Oh and the hilarious, GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka). I recommend this to anyone. It's frickin' hilarious with the English dub. Of course, I am a Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden fan.

I have got to disagree with you there, I think FMA: Brotherhood was much better than FMA original.

...what? Original FMA was a pile of shit compared to Brotherhood. The fact that you can't even point out what was wrong with Brotherhood should serve as a sign that there was NOTHING wrong with Brotherhood in comparison to the Original anime.

Venting...

Currently watching Kanon.

Next to watch list.

The legend of the legendary heroes
Star Driver
Cross game

Edit: Might try the anime I'm afraid of......Higurashi.

I've been watching anime for quite a while and I've been keeping up with the current releases. The series I've watched are probably too numerous to list and it would probably be best if I didn't do so.

Anyway, has anyone seen Steins;Gate yet? I know it's by the same writer as Chaos;Head but I haven't tried it out yet.

Venting again...

Kanon complete. It's okay. Bit confusing and sad but sweet.

Next opponent. The dreadful Higurashi.

Then in this order: Legend of the legendary heroes, Star Driver, and finally Cross Game. Saving the best for last.
