I've always wanted to see School Days. I heard that the last episode was held back for while because of a murder committed by a sixteen year-old Japanese girl against her father.

There was two murders, that involved the main girl characters, but yeah..it wasn't the best anime, you can go without watching it..nothing special really. I only watched it because I randomly picked it out of a list

School days is absolutely horrible. The only thing it really has going for it is the fact that the original source is somewhat decent, but the director of that anime has a tendency to train wreck plots. He also did akane-iro ni somaru saka, which was great until he decided to actually create a plot and then he screwed it up. Though, imo, school days qualifies in the so bad its funny, once you realize not to take the plot seriously.

No non o, it's FAR FAR below the SO bad it's FUNNY area, it falls below that crap. It isn't funny, it isn't funny when you try to make it funny, it isn't funny when youand 3 friends are drunk and making sex jokes at it, it isn't funny. Not until the END which was hilarious

I'm just gonna say that Gundam 00 went from an awesome mecha show at the end of the first season to a big disappointment in the second season. Screw magical faerie dust shit.

The ending is hilarious. I didn't actually consider it so bad it was funny, because I was completely pissed off at how horrible the show was. And then after the ending, it all made sense (to me at least) and then you can't really help but find the whole thing stupidly hilarious.

IMO, if a show can get you that pissed off and you still watch it to the end, it probably did something right, otherwise I wouldn't care. Though I'm the kind of person that drops shows all the time once I start to dislike the direction its going, as there is much, much more stuff to do (or watch) in that time. It's a bad habit...I dropped the second season of shana after the 2nd episode because nothing was happening, only to find a few months later that stuff starts happening at the 3rd episode.

*edit* on that note, white album is a similar kind of train wreck though not that bad. It's got a retarded soap opera plot, but I can't seem to stop watching it. Though it does help that Nana Mizuki does a really good job as Rina, and the opening song is good (of course...).

Well that's not the course for me, i have never and will never drop an anime, i'm gonna watch it all, doesn't matter how bad it is or how long it is, especially if I start it. This shit was BAD but it was only 12 episodes and 2 OVAs, both of which were bad also, although the Magical Girl one had legit funny parts so props to SOMETHING. Point is it was a duty to finish that crud, if you start it and end it before the END of it, you have lost your soul and will never get it back.

on the other hand, Shana season 2 was good, i liked it except that second theme song that made me yell WTF at it lol. HOWEVER i'm enjoying Index MUCH MUCH more right now.

YAY! I got my Pani Poni Dash box set! Should I keep the cardboard art thing that occupies the space in the box though... Not sure if I should or not.

I've been trying to force myself to watch Pani Poni Dash, but after the first 2 episodes I have yet to laugh once

And I'm entertained fairly easily

I suppose not everyone is gonna like it. I think it's right up there with Excel Saga, and Cromartie High School in terms of random Japanese humor.

Nah, PPD is not in that same style at all though, it's.... a more subtle humor that REALLY needs you to have seen the other anime and played the games it references a lot.

I LOVED it, SHAFT is a great company and this was funny, and it's not always slow it CAN be unbelievably random too and crazy, but not a lot. They did the same style with Hidamari Sketch, but that was nothing but subtle, and Negima?! but it was actiony......

I guess i'd say it's more like Lucky Star than anything

I enjoyed Lucky Star.
I enjoyed Cromartie.
I even enjoyed Excel Saga.

But fuck, it's like they can't keep hold of one joke long enough for it to be funny, or when they hold on to a joke it's the stupid ones. What's so funny about not being able to remember a student's name, then some random shit happened, I can't even remember at 4am.

She forgets the girls name, calls her plain, she holes up in a cage, she enters the cage but still doesnt remember her name, then some really random shit happens like an animal comes in dressed like her or some dumb shit. By that point my arm was firmly and irreparably lodged through the center of my monitor, at which time I cut off my arm and set it ablaze to cleanse the hurt.

I can understand a long running quick pun.
That shit took up half the first episode.

Offhand random shit like "Who are you again?" shit is fine.
But a whole 12 minutes dedicated to it is not my cup of tea.

This show reminds me of a less funny Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.
That was in the same vein, but they knew when to drop a joke until the next episode.

I'll keep trying to watch it, maybe I'll find something remotely funny

Right now I'm tryna finish up the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX dub on youtube. Ep 117 atm. I'm surprised how funny some of the dialogue actually is.

OMG they cut the Yugioh GX dub off at a stupid spot. Time for the rest sub style! Iku ze 156!

EDIT: Marchen Awakens Romance Ep. 54 is one of the funniest things ever. Nyan!
