You know from a technical standpoint it really makes sense for her to bend over like that. Seriously, how can you even walk straight.

Wait it's not already crap? That's news to me. Capcom isn't fantastic, but they still have a better track record in realizing "Hey, [Insert character] will be fucking idiotic if we give him all this."

ANYWAYS BACK TO ANNIE MAE.... uhhh, I've been watching Minami-ke recently and enjoying it. Kinda feels like K-On or Lucky Star if they weren't awful, but that's just my opinion.

K-On!!

Is more or less the same. I think the only things worth discussing would be the new OP/ED. Go! Go! Maniac still has to grow on me, but Listen! was pretty awesome and catchy when I first listened to it. Overall, it's usually easier to listen to Mio's voice over Yui's. The encircling camera shots in the OP seem kinda out of place, mostly because the girls are looking at the camera which makes it awkward. All of the animation in the ED was well done.

EDIT:

I think the new OP is far greater than the new ED....IF it wasn't Yui singing. The entire spinning camera portion + lyrics sounds like a frantic little girl dying by paper cuts.

O YEA !! SHIT JUST GOT REAL !! >:(

Some of my favourite series that if you haven't seen, I suggest you check out.

- Baccano!
- Hokuto no Ken
- Hajime no Ippo
- Last Exile
- AIR
- Clannad + After Story
- Full Metal Alchemist

Would have to say that Baccano! is easily my favourite series of all time. It's only a short 16 episodes, yet it covers more material and character growth than your average 26 to 50 episode long series. The plot is hard to grasp until the end, but that's how it's put together. The characters are extremely captivating, and despite being only 16 episodes long, there's at least a dozen characters that are all equally important to the plot. Music is top notch too, and it's got a great mix of humour, action and drama in it. Art is also absolutely fantastic.

Well, I've seen air and clannad after story. Both are great animes IMHO.
Oh and I knew kai was gonna get licensed. Nostalgia is so blissful.

Baccano was pretty good. You should watch Durururuauruura!!! if you liked it. Same author, even takes place in the same universe.

Ippo got really dumb after the first series.

I haven't watched the second season of Ippo yet, so it's still up there for me.

Also, I've been told to watch Drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr but idk, it just doesn't have the same charm that baccano had >:

It's a different show, but it's got the same sort of style. The storytelling gimmick is probably what makes the biggest difference. You spend a lot less time completely in the dark, which actually makes the story seem more interesting -- after all, without the gimmick used in Baccano the story is pretty meh, with the Dallas storyline going nowhere and most of the characters not really doing anything. I guess taking place in present day Japan makes durururuarua more familiar, but at least it stays out of high schools most of the time.

That said, durulauaua is really lame for at least the first 6 episodes or so. People will tell you that it gets good at the end of episode 3, which is fine since episode 2 was terrible, but neither of those characters are that interesting. One thing that's nice is that it presents a mystery and then gives you the answer in the next 3 or 4 episodes, then moves on to something else. A lot less shaggy dog business going on.

First few episodes are very boring. Especially episode 2. Izaya is a terrible character when he has lines.
