[Ohio] Class is now in session

Yesterday was a lot of fun for SCV at the ranbat at Arcade Legacy. It's always a great time getting to chill with really cool people & getting some awesome matches in on SCV.

Ragnarok: It was really cool meeting you too in person bro. We definitely had some great discussions on Soul Calibur, so I enjoyed that a lot. Good stuff on taking home 1st place & kicking my ass with Lexia there in the Grand Finals. Solid stuff there indeed. Also, thank you very much for some training against Lexia & showing me some cool shit with Viola in training mode. That was awesome. If collge isn't bogging you down that much, head down to the arcade more often. We meet up every Thursday for Fight Night, so it'd be awesome to see you show up on the regular for sure.

Senzait: It was really cool meeting you in person as well bro. Having awesome last names is where it's at. Haha. It was really cool chilling with ya as well my good sir. That's crazy how you seem to have been all over the place in terms of where you were born, where your parents live, & where you go to college at. Real cool stuff indeed right there. Great games in SCV as well my good sir. You're Patroklos & Mitsurugi are solid, & some of that Just Guarding you were doing in your matches was insanely good. Props there indeed. Sucks we got our casuals set cut off due to me having to play other games at the ranbat, but if you will be there again on Thursday, we'll get some more matches in without a doubt.

I don't think MysticBill checks this thread, so I'll send him a text or something for props & shout-outs. Same goes for everyone I play at Arcade Legacy in SCV. They usually don't check this thread, so I'll give them props & shout-outs when I see them next, that or on SRK where most of them post up anyway.

I was just posting up giving peeps a heads up that I'm not too sure if I'll be at the arcade or not on Thursday. My girlfriend is off work that day, so I'll more than likely will be spending time with her instead of going to the arcade. I might be there for a bit, but it's probably gonna be a no-go for me this Thursday.
 
Thursday the 10th is the only free Thursday when I can actually arrive on time. From May 13-June 23, I will have Psychology on Mon., Tues., and Thurs., from 1-4:30 pm, so I'll be about 1.5 hrs. late if I decide to commute an hour from Miami Middletown... xD
I'll wear my new Arcade Legacy T-Shirt, see you guys there!~

Also, don't worry about making it there on Thursdays around 6pm or 7pm. That's usually when a lot of peeps file in on Thursday anyway at AL, so all is good there.

I was gonna ask you Ragnarok...are you able to go to the next AL SCV ranbat on Saturday May 19th? It should be a good one. It's the week before UFGT8, so a lot of peeps will wanna get some practice in I'd imagine. I was gonna see if you, MysticBill, & Senzait would wanna stop by again for the ranbat. I was gonna ask my buddy Rekano as well to see if he is able to stop by that Saturday. Also, I talked to Ryujin from Michigan & he was very interested in stopping by for that ranbat as well with a few other of the Michigan SCV peeps, so it should be a lot of fun for sure with lots of good Soul Calibur taking place.

It's the Arcade Legacy Ranbat in Cincinnati, Ohio that will be taking place May 19th. Soul Calibur 5 starts at 4pm promptly. $10 entry fee which includes access to all the games, tournaments, & arcade games that are there for the entire day. There's no money prizes or anything like that for winning the tournaments or placing high (since it is a tournament season kind of thing aka ranbat), but they are a lot of fun & there's a lot of good games going on for sure at those days.

Arcade Legacy is pretty awesome. It does suck that Cincinnati & Cleveland are so far away from each other. What makes it worse is the drive getting to & from Cincinnati to Cleveland on I-71. Besides hitting up the Columbus area, it's nothing but cornfields. Staring at cornfields for about 3 1/2 hours while driving is some of the most boring shit you can do. It is not fun at all. Lol.

yeah, i'm godspu, but i play on 360. i'm actually living in brunswick right now, which puts me a decent way away from willoughby too.
 
Jansauer: What's up Kamui Moon!? Hope you're doing well my good sir. Definitely some ggs up at Season's Beatings: Summer Slam for sure. That will be awesome if you can go to RP3 (Rocket Punch 3) here at Arcade Legacy. We'll get some games in for sure. Also, thank you for saying something about that. This reminds me to make a thread for RP3 over on the tournaments section here at 8wayrun.

Sp1d3r: If you're wanting to add some people to play on PSN, definitely add me on there my good sir. I play games online a decent amount in SCV, so it should be easy to catch me on there if ya want to get some games in.

Also, good games to everyone I played yesterday in SCV at Fight Night at Arcade Legacy: xragnarok645x, Micah_1, Arkayne, The Red Cyclone, & Arcade Legacy (Jesse).
 
Yeah, we should really just start posting the Console Combat threads ourselves instead of waiting for an official posting.
